Genz Uber 115?

Nice....

Hi folks-
Dealers that order will have the Uber 15 and the Uber "Quad" in November.

Uber Quad:
GB1288T-UQ
600 WATT, 8 OHM, 1X12 2X8 WITH TWEETER
55 POUNDS
SAME FOOTPRINT AND COSMETICS
RETAIL- $1349.00

Custom spec. neo drivers.

Thanks for your interest.

I wonder if Genz Benz will offer an Uber 115 with no tweeter for those customers who wish to stack two uber 115's (bottom cab w/no tweeter, top cab w/tweeter).

I realize one could just turn off the tweet on the bottom cab, but some customers may not want to pay for something they wouldn't need.

And then, there may be some customers who don't like tweets at all, and would only want to buy a pair of non-tweetered Uber 115's and save a few bucks.

I'm afraid not. I'm having a tough enough time effectively turning our inventory with the models we already have. Also, if we come out with another new model, our dealers don't grow more floor space to show them.

We have a tough enough time getting dealers to stock core product.

That makes sense. Thanks for your reply! I'm sure the Uber 115 with the tweet will be much more popular than a 115 w/o a tweet.

As long as the uber 115 has an attenuator for the tweeter, then it's all good!

yes, it does. I do indeed see an increased demand in the market for more traditional and/or old-school tones. So, I'll certainly keep my eyes and mind open- if enough people ask for it, we can add one to the line.

Perhaps another option would be to add a tweeter bypass switch which allows the 15 to operate without a low pass and roll off naturally. That way you'd still only have one model but could run it with adjustable tweeter or sans crossover as just a full range 15.

Interesting idea!! I like it!

I sure am looking forward to the Uber 115 coming to market. I really like the idea of a pair of stacked Uber 115's. I wonder what the 3dB downpoint freq response will be at the low end (42 hz perhaps??....same as the Uber 212??)

Just got these photos and wanted to share,

I asked GB if they had any PDF files of new stuff.. and thats what i got.. I cropped out all the text and left the photos.
2 to 3 of the 115s with my MAx12 head would be great for this gig i am doing now.. I was going to go with the 210s..But I like a line stack...and 15s are nice for Rock stuff.
