Hey @Jeff Genzler, I have this..ummm...friend...Yeah, a friend. He was thinking about putting one of those pole mount hole thingies in the bottom of a 10-2 so he could put the 10-2 on a short pole stand and hear himself more betterer whilst playing URB.

Is this friend an idiot? Can it be done? And if so, how??

Just received my new BA12-3 SLT! Am I the first in Canada???

Set it up with my BA12-3 and WHAMMY! Holy Sheit batman, what an experience. I quickly A/B'd each cab and also compared to running them both. I hit the Holy Grail of Bass Rigs. The only problem is I really really like both running together, so, so much for using a single cab for small gigs.....

Used my Metro Sadowsky, first passive, then with some bass and treb rolled in. MG800, flat EQ, A then B Contours, around 10:30ish. Also worked very nice up at 12 oclock.
BA 12-3SLT is slightly tighter and brighter, heard just a tinge more mids.
BA 12 regular, just a little deeper, seemed just a bit bassier. Preferred the reg, but this has been my main cab for a while
Together, Holy Grail of rigs. I saw the light.

Can't wait to get this out in gig conditions.

Same experience I had. The good news is the cabs are, to me, are small and easy enough to schlep around that taking both is not a problem. I’ve covered many gigs with a single BA 112, but the STL and the STR sound wonderful! Jeff recommended putting the SLT on the bottom.... I have to concur!

Same with me. Lots of gigs, small/med/large clubs and outdoors. Single cab was stellar. My first sampling was STD on the bottom. I'm going to flip them around and re sample.

Well I wont make personal judgements on your "friend" but it can be done if that is what you want. If you're going forward PM me and I can tell you what you'll need to do in taking out the internal dampening so you can drill the hole with a hole saw.

I just got this and whaaaaaaaatttt??!! Only 55 pounds? My old Mesa 2x10 weighed like 70 pounds, that's crazy.

That's a surprise. A no brainer for you 4x10 guys for sure. I'm still happy with my BA10-2...although I think a pair would be killer.

I'm already scheming about what i need to move out in order to get one .. I like certain things about 410s and i dislike other things. I LOVE the size of a 410.. They are stable and hard to tip over. Easy to move...

The Main thing i dislike about most other 410s are the BEAMING properties..
I'll bet this 410 Eliminates any Beaming..
It's clearly a one cab solution for me. That's a deal maker !
Weight, Size, Freq Resp look real nice
