I've been playing my mixed BA12-3 & BA12-3 SLT stack at practice a lot, and I am really digging not only the better vertical coverage, but also the tighter lows and better overall clarity that the SLT brings to the table. The BA12-3 on its own (or in groups) is of course fantastic, but the SLT brings more than just the angled-back front baffle to the equation.
I keep telling youse guys about the 10-2. @tombowlus just described the 10-2.

I only heard the BA210-3 vs the BA12-3 at a NAMM Show, which isn't really an ideal listening environment. I'm hoping to spend some quality time with one or two BA210-3's at some point, though.
Well, I'm going to trade my 800 head and bag for the 350 and some cash. I plan to use the cash to get a cradle and BA10-2 to make the combo. I like the one hand grab and from what I can tell, it will be plenty for my occasional indoor jazz gigs and pit work.
Still debating the future of my BA12-3 cab. It's a little big for regular use for me. It would be a nice 2nd cab with the combo for some of my outdoor artfest type jazz gigs in the summer. So would a 2nd BA10-2 I guess. We'll see. Cabs are expensive to ship so I may just keep it and see. The MG350 should be plenty to power either or both of these cabs.

I guess I should "like" that since he's trading with me! I am happy we were able to find a good match for our needs here on the forum. I don't think I need the 800 but the band I'm in now is pretty loud and looking for a little overdrive so the 800 should give me that and then some. Maybe I'll pick up a 350 in the future for home and smaller gigs but I'm excited to see what the 800 can do. Thanks Steve and thanks again to the forum for facilitating a match!
I think the 800 will be perfect for you. It can go loud - even with one cab - if you need it and the drive is nice.
Gigs where I need an amp are few and far between (although maybe more if the new group can find places to play) so a compact yet full and loud (within reason) combo will be perfect.

Looking forward to having my favorite little combo again once the MG350 (traded my 800) arrives. This replaces my good old Shuttle 3.0-10T that I loved but wanted to update just a bit. This should do the trick for my jazz quartet gigs. If I need more for a bigger room or outside gigs I stil have my BA12-3.

So glad you were able to get this worked out. I'll be interested to hear your comments when stacking the 2 BA 10-2 cabs and the the MG350-COMBO on the BA12-3 cab.
So far it’s just 1 BA10-2 and one BA12-3. I have the MG350 running th BA12-3 right now. That “little” 350 makes the 12 thump like crazy. Maybe I’ll end up keeping it for bigger venues and outdoors. We’ll see after some experimenting I guess.
As usual, not disappointed by any Genzler gear.
Here is a pic of my whole rig with $$ included. I got my LeCover padded bags about a week ago and haven't had a chance to try them out until just now I've been so busy with work. These were "custom" made and then added to the webpage as an option. They fit great, anyone with MG cabs looking at bags I would highly recommend.
You should reach out to Jeff about that. I believe that was a mistake from their supplier. He's nothing but great about making things like this right. One of the reasons I am so happy with Genzler gear!

I play Genzler (Genz Benz before that) and Roscoe. I have spoken with both Keith and Jeff personally in the process of buying from them. That is why I continue to buy from them and shamelessly endorse them.

When I need a laugh I think of this:
I'm considering buying the Genzler Magellan 800 and the 212T. I respect Jeff and his designs, but I don't think I have seen this before - The amp is 800 watts at 4 ohms and the cabinet is rated at 700 watts 4 ohm. I probable won't play at max volume very often, but maybe occasionally. Do I need to worry about toasting the cabinet?
