Question for the Genzler fanatics or Jeff. When using the DI out on either of the Genzler heads does the increase in my bass volume mess with the House volume? Does the increase in the head volume or gain increase the house volume?

The volume of the DI is controlled using the channel volume, not the master volume.
Well.. I mean, anything that you change leading up to the channel volume on the head will certainly affect what the DI is feeding to the PA, yeah. The only thing that will NOT affect the PA is your master volume.
If don't want your EQ settings to affect the PA signal you can switch the DI to Pre-EQ rather than Post-EQ, but anything that you adjust on your bass, pedalboard, or anything else in front of the head, as well as your channel gain, etc, will affect the signal from the DI, and you control output of the DI using the volume for whatever channel you are using (Clean or Drive).
If you asking about adjusting the volume control on your bass then yes that I believe will affect the FOH.
Speaking about the MG800 only as I do not have the smaller head.
Amp EQ adjustments may affect depending if you set pre or post eq for the DI. Master volume on the amp will have no affect.
When I have FOH support I ask the sound engineer what they would like. 99% will ask for a pre eq setting.
I normally run Pre EQ on amp and no effects. I need to test more but was just wondering if changes in my volume either with bass or amp head would make a change in volume with the house.
I've run lots of sound over the years, mostly for big churches. For sound checks I have the bass player play at his "regular volume". A little adjustment on the bass volume would hardly be noticeable in the FOH. Especially if they are running the signal through a compressor. A good sound person should be "active" on the board and tweak on the fly for each song.
Now for the Genzler, MG800, because of the Array (BA 12-3) I've had a sound guy drop me out of the FOH because I was filling the room nicely and better sounding than the mains. A bigger room and I spun the BA12 around so It was firing up at me had the FOH mains for the room.
I ran sound for my band a couple of weeks ago and put my Rig into the mains as the room was a little odd shape and it worked really well. Ran it pre eq and I tweaked it at the board.

The ONLY time EQ changes will affect FOH is if you have teh DI out set in POST EQ. Master VOL does NOT affect DI out

In POST EQ mode on the DI then you will get the entire EQ section of the MG-800 through the DI ---- but still the MASTER vol has no impact. I think your covered with good comments from all on this.

I got to very briefly audition a friend's MG800 + BA12-3-STR + BA12-3-SLT yesterday at his house (thanks, Brother).
I was very impressed with the overall sound - evenness of tone, punch, depth, & smoothness of the upper frequencies.
He's a very busy (gig wise) bassist & he knows bass gear & he loves the Genzler gear, so I'm sure it kills on a gig as well!

I’m thinking of selling a brand new in the box Genzler 12-3 cab if someone needs a new one a killer price. I’ve ordered way to much Genzler equipment and the wife isn’t happy lol.
Will you please order a pair of 10-2s that you no longer need? I live right over the border and I will happily come pick them up.
That's mainly why I'm getting rid of this new one. My Genzler 350 and 2 of the 10-2 arrays is all I need. Amazing setup.
