Numberless Limbo...HEY, I think that will be my next band name!

63 is my birth year too, but you may have the number. It’s not a thing I do.
Yeah it's not a thing I do either, but for some reason without even asking I received numbers with EBS, ESP, Sterling and Dean. Lol.

Now that I am asking for one, watch me not get it. BTW the Magellan 800 sounds excellent through every cab I have ran it through which shouldn't surprise anyone.

I have tried 2 tube heads .. But not on a gig..
I recently sold the both of them.
One was my 70s SVT and the other a 1st Gen Ampeg SVT 2 non pro..
410-3 takes EQ very well. The mids and highs DO sound gorgeous theru the array.
The 410-3 is FULL range , but it doesn't do what a TWEETER filled cab does by adding that super high end Spike.. And the ARRAY doesn't have that HOLE between the speaker and the tweet. To me it sounds flat, in a good way
Mileage will vary but IMO the 410-3 allows me to hear what my amp sounds like without the HYPE of some cabs .. Just my opinion. Others may hear things differently.
My friend has an older Fender BAssman.. Maybe 50 watts.. I want to try that for S,n' Giggles.

Has anyone tried the 410-3 with a full tube head yet? I really like my Shaw through Barefaced 10's, but I think the mids and highs would have to sound gorgeous through the array.

I went for it. I sold my SWR cabs but kept my beloved SWR amp and power amp.

I have not had the quads out in YEARS... I was using my Uber 115 pair for a while then got down to just one of the Uber115s for a long time. That cab is very potent.
My 410-3 is more potent. More EVEN sounding. The Uber115 has a hyped upper MID that pokes thru. Sometimes I liked that other times i had to tame it .

The 410-3 is more even without that hyped upper mid. It took getting used to since the 115 was my go to cab for EVERYTHING for years. It went on HUGE gigs to small bar gigs etc. . .
I had to learn to re EQ after switching to the BA 410-3 which means less EQ. Basically Flat sort of.
I guess i have almost 30 gigs on it by now.

My guess without pulling them out to do A/B is the 410-3 has more bottom, is more even in the mids. MUCH MORE PUNCHY than the Quads. It has a fuller low mid that growls while keeping a full support down LOW.. You might say the 410-3 is warmer sounding which took getting used too because it doesn't have a compression tweeter .. But it can go as HIGH as the tweet cab but it just sounds more smooth and even...After a few gigs i became used to the No Tweeter and now use LESS EQ. I can hear myself better with teh 410-3.. I may go out on a limb here.. But i think teh BA 410-3 may be as loud and full as a pair of quads but with better low mids, tighter bottom and deeper sounding.. It also projects well into teh room

Hey @svtb15, how does 2 GB UBER Quads compare to the 410-3 Array? Just kind of curious as I really like how musical and smooth the mids are through the UBER QUAD.

I have a gig on the August 3rd that I'm going to take the 410-3 and use my Demeter Bass 400. My Magellan will tag along just in case!

Oookay! Roster has been updated (check page 181) - I believe I got everybody along with their number requests, but if anybody has any special needs (you know who you are), don't hesitate to let me know!

If anybody else is waiting for their special number to come up, just let me know and I'll skip you ahead :D
