The BA12-3 is a great cab to transport. The strap handle works great. I can easily carry one in each hand.

Jeff, thanks for your input. I am an old dude so 35# is about as heavy as I want to go. Concerning strap handles, I certainly appriciate your input. I guess I keep thinking of all the bad experiences I have had through the years with strap type handles. Sounds like your's are more heavy-duty.

With your "old dude" and "through the years" comments I know you and I are coming from the same place. I've seen many a broken strap handle in my day and that is why, back in the latter GB days, I went on to design our own strap handles that would NEVER break. Some large company that starts with a big "F" still uses those handles on many of their newer "Rumbly" products today.
This handle on the BA12-3 uses dual screws on each end-cap (w/t-nuts) and the rubber strap is the heaviest I've ever found ---- without going to a completely molded strap.
This is why I'm pretty dang confident that you will not have an issue with longevity with this strap.
We do have a couple of dealers in NC if you're thinking of taking a drive at some point to check out. the gear.
The strap handles on the Genzler cabs are very beefy and they are easily carried. (my .02) 
Well I finally sold my TC RS210 cabs and ordered 2 of the Genzler 112 array cabs coming with covers. I can't believe I spent that much money without trying them first but I'm excited to get them and see if they make my Magellan 800 sound even better.

You won't be disappointed. Setup for a recent gig:
Only played the Ding and gee, it sounded great. Clean channel, -7dB pad engaged, pre at 11 o'clock, Contour B at about 10 o'clock, bass just a tad up and master at 12 o'clock. Bass on the Ding just a tad up, and treble just a tad rolled off. Drool. Easily filled the room with amazing definition. Loved it.

I saw your other threads and I think you will be happier with the modularity of 2 small cabs over a single, large 4-ohm cab. But, Genzler has the 10-day money back policy, so if it doesn't pan out for some reason, you won't be out any money, except initial shipping costs.

Best setup I've played - ever.

Like the other posts... you will not be disappointed with the Genzler cabs they are the shizzz... that is all!!!
Here is what I've got coming my way. Well except for 1 of the 3 cabs. I found a gentleman that had these in his practice room and have never left the house to be gigged. So i traded my Mesa D-800 and cash for the Genzler head and 2 of the array cabs and protective covers. I will in a few weeks purchase the 3rd cab when I save up a little more. I'm sure excited to see what these cabs sound like.

Yesterday a friend of mine from Dallas hired me and some other guys to help him at his day gig at a Recording/ Video / FOH school . He teaches Live Recording and sound.. They had a few classes come together to run LIVE sound, Plus LIVE video and Multi track record it all.. I think it was 3 separate groups. It was early call at 8 AM. wheww.. We just ran about a dozen classic rock tunes that everyone knew
They wound up doing a 5 or 6 camera HD shoot, with Live sound and recorded it multi track into protools into the SSL G console shown below.
We were there all day since they had a 9am class, 2pm class and a 7 pm class.
I just shot few pics. They were going to run bass DI only but then the teacher wanted them to MIC it too. They originally put s sm57 on my cab.. But i saw an RE20 in studio B and asked for that. The student did it. But then the student got in trouble for pulling the studios mic out of the studio to use on the LIVE sound stage. oooopsssss.. I did take responsibility for her getting in trouble and bailed her out. So it was all good..
So they went back to the sm 57.. This was from the early set up..
I used my Magellan 800 into my uber15 and it was great
I guess they will use the rest of the week to edit everything and sync it all.. Its beyond what i know how to do. I will say the 1st class monitor mixer was VERY good at his job for a student.. I have been blessed to work with some of the best and he was able to hold his own.. The next 2 classes weren't so easy..
But it was really fun to work along side young people learning the bizz and see teh fire and passion that they have.. the facility was great.. They had 3 nice studios and a sound stage room . One room had an nice old SSL G4000, next was the NEVE room and another SSL room...

Alright guys I had some time last night to play through this amazing Genzler head and stack and I just can't believe it. The volume and overall tone this stack puts put simply amazes me. The build quality is better in my opinion than the Mesa D-800 head and cabs that match. Granted I only played it at low volumes in my house. I can't wait to stretch the legs o this bad boy this weekend. For the first time in my life I think I'm gas free with my Bass amp needs lol.
When I first received them yesterday I was a little cautious because they are very small compared to what I've used in the past. As soon as I plugged my Ibanez SR5005 into it I was grinning ear to ear. How in the heck does these little cabs put out so much chest feeling Low end lol???
I am in a similar position with the MG800 though I have the Magellan cabs. One thing I like about the MG800, so far, is that the volume taper is set up to allow me to practice at home at reasonable volumes and still get a good sound, but it really wakes up when you crank it past 9:30-10:00.

I only used one cab yesterday uber 115... It was a RnB gig.. I flipped it on its side, i think ( may be wrong) but i think it helped on that boomy stage to not have the port on the floor.
The Mg800 is pretty punchy. .its so easy and fast to get a sound .. No endless knob twisting. i like that

New Magellan owner here, just traded it for a Mesa Subway. I've always been a big fan of Jeff's stuff. Could use a bit of help on settings. I found that while the Subway had tons of bottom, it was lacking a bit in the upper mids and highs - tended to get a bit buried in the upper range of the mix.
The Magellan on the other hand is feeling a bit thin to me in the low end. Running it through Baer M112s. Anyone have some suggested settings for thick vintage sound, but still with clear definition?
