So, my MG-12T-V has been ordered. I play at the "small" end of the spectrum, don't need (or want) big rig and big volume. I was debating whether to order a second BA110-2 for my MG-350 combo but decided to go with the new vertical tiny-12. I am really looking forward to the modular/scalar versatility of having the 10 and 12, and one amp. Likely i will never need to use both cabs together but i will try that (with 12 tweeter off per Jeff's recommendation) just because...

Haha I know other have said it, but yeah, that is one gorgeous bass! I have a purple Warwick Katana. Purple is awesome for basses!

A double yesterday with my Genzler gear!
URB for a assisted living “happy hour” (single 10-2) then off to a cover/variety gig on ‘lectric (10-2 stack).
I’ve been getting good results with Drive set on the edge of breakup, Contour B at noon, Bass around 10:00 and Mid/Treble set flat. Punchy as heck and full. Sits nice with other instruments in a full band setting.

Maybe gallows humor, but I had a vision of some resident bumming a 110v outlet from you for their oxygen tank.
Ah, we'll all be at those gigs someday...
On the plus side of nursing home gigs;
1) No complaints to "turn it down" residents can just turn off hearing aids.
2) Captive audience.
3) Your bedtime is later than theirs.
4) Plenty of things that roll for easy load-in/load-out.

I might have to start looking into some of those gigs. No late hours or multiple 45 min sets, and no airborne beer bottles!
I have been playing for the nearly departed for several years here in Arizona. We have a bunch of retirement communities east valley (east side of the Phoenix Metro area). A lot of snowbirds in the winter, great bunch of people to play and party with. Great venues, large stages, good pay and early hours, usually 7 to 10PM.

I know this has probably been asked before, but will the Magellan 350 mounting bracket fit the Shuttle 3.0? Or similarly, will a Shuttle 3.0 mounting bracket fit the BA10-2?
Maybe not the right place to post - and if too "harsh" let me know and I'll delete - but Andy Irvine. What's with this guy? He makes compelling YT videos showcasing basses, amps and cabs. So today he posts about the HandBox R400 amp (playing through a BA 410-3). It sounds like every day he falls in love with a different bass/amp/cab. Today it is the R400 (although reviewed previously). What got me was that he calls Class D heads great for "the really awesome convenience factor" (5:35 in the YT video) - like you're going to the 7-11 for a 99 cent cheez dog, as opposed to a hybrid amp being a Ribeye steak. He goes on to say that "they're put together right there on a bench in their factory" (Poland). As if robots on Mars assemble Genzler gear. Maybe the point of this is that he likes a tube and transformer sound - but I find the 800 and 350 just amazing with the variety of sounds you can coax out of them.
I'm also trying to figure out his deal - he has 18K subscribers. Glad he features Genzler in many of the vids - but do you think he is just a YT noodler playing cool, smooth lines to get clicks, or is he providing real value to those trying to evaluate gear?

Sorry to say but this will not work. Only the MG350 fits in the Genzler Cradle.
I think that could be said about a lot of us...
Andy used to be the main demo guy for Warwick. I liked those videos, but I cannot watch him now. The poor audio recording on his videos make them useless imho. Plus the way he always plays back on top of the bridge, I feel I don’t get a real feel for what the bass actually sounds like.
He makes money and gets free gear to review gear. Of course he’s gonna love everything they send him...he probably got it for free, and they may have even paid him to review it!
Yes, just like magazine reviews. When was the last time you read “this one sucks” in a magazine review. Uh..never.
Not just "professional" reviewers. People tend to buy what they like and like what they buy. Human nature. Having said that, we all LOVE our Genzler gear. We are honest, and correct!
