I would just hate for it to disappear, especially if stacked on 2 x 12s. I'm thinking that it would help stage monitoring while the 12s drive down and out.

It wouldn’t disappear... but the 12’s would be louder. I like the mix of my single BA12-3 and BA10-2.
Do you find the 10 and 12 combo is punchier than just the single 12 or 2 x 12s? I’m liking the idea of it for sure.
I’m waiting to hear some “real world” comments on the new talk MG12. I know that a stack of 10’s is awesome, but I’d still like a single cab solution. I’m guessing that as my BA10-2 basically covers my gigs, that a good 12 would take it over the edge. A little more full, a little more volume. We’ll see.
Ok; Does this mean I need to ditch one of my BA10-2s and grab a new 12T-V. Could it be a BA10-2 paired with a 12T-V is better then 3 BA10-2s? Certainly easier to cart about.

I got my new MG-12T-V yesterday and only have a few hours playtime on it so far. And no gigs scheduled for a while so my impressions are "home-based". Couple disclaimers: i'm using an MG350 amp with both cabs, same settings. 4-string passive P bass (G&L LB-100), fingerstyle, no slap/pop/zing pyrotechnics. And i am certainly no techie.
Physically the cab looks great and oozes quality. Interestingly it feels about the same as the BA110-2 to schlep around, ie easy. The couple pounds and inches are really not noticeable to me - that is a big deal for this Olde Farte.
Sound is fuller and deeper than the BA110-2 , i guess it would be called old-school in comparison to the 110 hi-fi-ish sound. However that sound is not boomy or muddy, it is warm but quite clear. Is that a little push in the mids (don't know, maybe Jeff will clarify)? The 112 tweeter is very smooth and adds a lovely sheen to the sound, not in the slightest harsh or trebly/clanky.
That all said, I think the BA110 is a great little cab for what it does. It is just different in terms of size, and performance, depending on what a player is after. I've been after a one-cab solution for the kind of playing i do. I'd been thinking about adding a second BA110 to my MG350 combo for the fuller sound and more versatility but when the new 112 was announced that seemed to be a perfect solution for what *I* (maybe not you) was looking for. And, initial impressions, granted not gigged yet, it is.
Here's a couple size comparison pics:

That is a very nice looing cab. Man my wife is going to kill me when I order one of those after buying 4 of the 10-2 arrays in the past year lol.
They do, the 110 hangs over slightly but the feet sit just inside the 112 corner plates. Haven't had time to plug the stack in yet or remove the amp cradle and try 110 on the bottom.
I must say however that the stack does not look as pretty as either cab by itself
I agree. The visual awesomeness of each cabinet is lost when stacked, but you can always close your eyes or don’t look back!
tomorrow i'll remove the amp cradle on 110 and put it on the bottom, and fire up the stack. Standby...
I use the BA10 and BA12 together regularly. When combined, I don’t hear two separate cabinets, I hear what is the sonic equivalent of a single three-way cabinet, even though I suppose, technically, it’s going more than three ways. I think the two cabinets complement each other well, with the 10 providing good punch and clarity while the 12 fills out the low end. I use each cabinet separately as well, but if I’m in a bigger room or playing outdoors, I stack the 10 on top of the 12, lining up the arrays down the middle. I have received lots of compliments about the sound, from audience members and fellow musicians alike.
I haven’t used two BA12s stacked, so I can’t compare, but a lot of folks here seem to like that combination.
Here's a couple pics with BA110 on the bottom. It is slightly wider but the 112T-V is slightly deeper; as a result it does not sit square and stable on top of the 110. About 50% of the feet width hang off, if that makes sense. If i align cab fronts vertically the 112 rear feet are barely on top of the 110 and i think a slight bump would knock the 112 off. So doesn't seem to me the 112 on top is a good idea. Plus the stack still doesn't look pretty.
I discovered i don't have long enough speakons, and no 1/4 spkr cable - so i haven't plugged in both cabs. I have to say though that i really have no interest in doing this. While i'm sure it would sound ok my ears tell me that the two cabs are really quite different in function and sound and the optimal pairing, if desired, is two of the same.
