Genzler Amplification Club

Hey all...OT but I just finished reading "The Birth of Loud" while sitting on the beach in beautiful Aptos CA. Weather was perfect and the book was great. Sad that both Leo and Les are gone but got to thinking how cool it is that we have another great musical genius in our very own Jeff. And he's accessible and interested! What a wonderful thing!

If you haven't read the book, by all means get it and enjoy. And it was cool reading that Leo's real pride and joy was the Precision Bass. It was his real true innovation amongst all his wonderful contributions to our musical lives.

I know we have talked about this before, but I’m really liking this Apache case! It holds a lot and protects my MG800 and a few pedals and adapters that I use often plus stuff!

While I've been a member here for quite a while, I've never really posted. I've read and read and read all the reviews on Genzler and while I'm not an owner (yet) I have made a decision to upgrade my just old GK backline 350.
I've made the decision on Genzler, just deciphering which way. I'm currently leaning Magellan 800 with a 12-3 straight but not sure if I need all the power. Decisions, decisions...any input/feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I play anything but mainly rock and hard rock/metal; very little slap.
