I use a pair of stacked Avatar (210,212) and a Greenboy Bassic 15 (drummers cage) at church powered by my MG800 and the response is great!!
If anything pushed by the 350 or 800 sounds bad, then blame it on the cabinets/drivers!

Lord aw-mighty, man! Pass the collection plate and get some Genzler cabs in that house of worship!
IKR!!! But the Avatar speakers work great in that house! The sad part was when I got tired of hauling my gear in there and presented my recommendations to the Board, they generously gave me a $600 budget!!! So, I sold the church those two Avatar cabinets and gave them the new Greenboy so that the drummer can ‘feel’ me, but if any TB'er Brotheren wants to help put Genzler in this church, then PM me! It would bless us real good!!!
In this case, the MG800 makes all the difference!

Anyone got one yet or tried it out? I would especially love to hear from someone who has a 12 and/or has compared it. I am about to consign my 12s to acquire a 15 and 210 SLT combo. Very excited but a little nervous about doing it sight unseen. But then again, with Jeff's stuff there is little doubt it will be love at first thump.
I have yet to play a Genzler rig I didn't like. Not that everything is for everybody, but all the gear is top notch for sure.
If you have a 12-3 SLT I would like to hear about you comparing it to the 15-3 SLT.
Sounds like those 12’s are being sold via consignment, not being donated as a tax write off to a very need-those-cabinets church!!

All I know is, after picking up the bass again after a 30 plus year absence, I can't believe what's available to us these days. I come from the, if it ain't gigantic, it can't possibly to do the trick, school of thought with regards to bass amps. You, know, I had an Acoustic 361, Acoustic 371, CV's and the like. Now, I have a couple of nice G&L's to play with and finally arrived at a Magellan 800 and ONE BA12-3. Well, it looks like we'll be seeing quite a number of BA12-3's in the used market for great prices. I need another BA12-3 like another hole in my head but man, if I start seeing this cabs for $500 with free shipping on a regular basis, I'm going to get at least one more. And, I'm just playing for myself in my office!!!! It's a sickness, but at least I'm not really harming myself.
You may find a BA10-2 as an attractive option. It plays nicely with the 12-3 and gives you an even smaller option that still punches way above its weight and size even for the current generation of cabs.
BTW, I was a single BA12-3 owner with that single cab meeting all of my live performing needs. I picked up the 10-2 as a home practice/very small church option only to find it is often a more than adequate single cab solution for most of my needs.

No way! I graduated from Knob! My dad was in the Air Force and I worked on base. Tell you the truth, I was happy to get out of there!
Also, got my BA 12-3 today! Fast Shipping! It's the smoothest sounding cab I've ever played. I bumped the treble on my MG 800 to max and it still sounded smooth without brittle, hissing highs. I have a 2000ish SWR 2X10 with a tweeter and that thing hisses like crazy.
Knob Noster was a small rural town and the base gave it some life! I can understand the love you don’t have for it. It was a different world for the young Airman with the money, the cars, the 2.5% alcohol beer, very few rules and no parents!!!

Yep, he sure is. He has enabled me out of a few thousand dollars over the years. He's also very helpful and knowledgeable about it all so it's tough to be too hard on him.
