I like the tease of a new cab on April 1. Can’t wait for them to be revealed officially.

With my new found liking of tube DI’s and compressors and stuff these days, I’m waiting for a “Genzler” update on the old GB Streamliner Amps. I’m thinking that could be a kill 2 birds with one stone for me. Assuming it’s small and light with a tube sweetened DI, it could be my preamp/DI for IEM gigs and I’d have the same sound for those gigs where I used an amp. If it were to mount using the same holes/bracket as the MG350 on top of say a 12T-V cab...

I know a least one person using a Streamliner in this fashion and says the sound is amazing. It’s very hard to find a used Streamliner to experiment.

After the cab reveal next week, maybe they will work on what I see as the last “update” needed in the Genzler line. A head with a tube preamp and digital power amp, like the old Genz Benz Streamliner. Think there’s be a market for that? I know everyone - myself included - loves the MG heads. But...

I know Jeff is aware of our discussions and wish lists, so I’m just putting this out there.

Seeing all these posts on two 15" cabs made me start to question my 210 stacked on the 15. But then I plugged in and wow, I'm really still so happy! For me, the power and articulation of that combo is just perfection. AND, as an added bonus, in situations where I don't need that kind of volume, I really have choices. I like the 2x10 by itself and the 15 by itself. No criticism here on any combination but I love the look of a neat stack and whether it's two 15s, a 15 and a 210 or a 15 and 410, or any combination of those, the BAs look, and sound amazing.

Still very happy with my decision and appreciate having the 210 closer to ear level where it's clarity and presence, combined with the BOOM (in a good way) of the 15 is cabinet heaven for me.

Of course, YMMV as it does and always will.

I am sure that the 210/115 combination is also phenomenal.

@dwellers ----- I also think this is one of the best combinations we offer. I too like the punch of the 2x10 cab up on top of the BA15-3SLT. And the flexibility you mention with 2 different types of cabs --- for your various needs or tonal moods. My personal favorite is the BA210-3 (straight) on top of the slanted BA15-3SLT. Like any of our SLANT/STRAIGHT combinations, I like the SLANT on the floor and STRAIGHT on top. This makes both baffles in the same 6 degree "slanted plane" which aligns the baffles in a direct couple, along with both arrays. This is totally subjective and many like different variations but that's just me..

Agree! The BA210-3/BA15-3 combo is just fantastic. Played a few shows last year with this setup and it sure delivers!! I’m a 10’s guy though and my main rig is the BA210-3 SLT/BA410-3 but the 210/15 is my 2nd favorite!

Don't get me wrong, The MG800 on top of my GK NEO412 is MASSIVE sounding, and I love it, but I too am a "10's guy".

I used my Genzler MG800 as a power amp quite a bit. Have not turned the thing on but a few times in the last year though...

Which order do you think I should stack those. So far I've just put the slant on the very top but thinking maybe putting it at the bottom and slanting the whole stack.... Or maybe in the middle??

If I understood Jeff's earlier post correctly, putting the slant at the bottom would keep everything lined up. So yeah slant at the bottom.
