Genzler Amplification Club

So....some here have asked for a little feedback on the NU CLASSIC cabs coming soon.
I had a chance to pull out the good ole' NOS GB UBER410T I have, loaded with our NEO 10" of that era.
Broke out the Sadowsky NYC 5 string.
Set it up next to two of the NU CLASSIC 210T cabs. Very interesting.
Like it's reputation, that UBER cab has always been an amazing cab. Very deep, made for big stages. Can be aggressive if that is what you want.
That is what Doug Johns has always liked about those cabs.

Set the two NC cabs as a stack and then side-by-side. Certainly these 2 cabs had just as much depth and beef down low as the UBER but a warmer mid.
Spreading the two NC-210T a little really broadened the tonal footprint, more so that just side-by-side. Kept the tightness and warmth, just felt wider.
Personally I preferred the spread over the stack, but the stack was also a very small stage footprint.

Certainly interesting to compare old and new and with their differences and similarities.

For the spread you talking a smaller angle maybe 10-15 degrees or spread apart parallel to each other?

@Nuage420 --- the cabs were approx 6" apart, side-by-side, no angles. Both baffles in the same plane. In each cab the 10" drivers are slightly off center of each other which I think benefits this side by side set up.

"Just as much beef and depth down low with a warmer mid". I like the sound of that...my resistance is weakening.

Dig the new shirts, Jeff!

Did someone ask for a vertical 210?
Local CL listing. Is history prelude?

Just to be clear, this is NOT a Genz Benz product. No way, no how. Looks like they used a bumper sticker for the logo. Both speakers look to have different cones. Bad, bad, bad. Frankly this pisses me off.
Looks like crap.
Thanks for showing it, but be warned!!
