I'll be interested to hear some comparisons between the NU112-T and the MG112T-V. The 212T is pretty impressive at only 44 pounds. The choices are many and all good flavors I'm sure!

Yup, this will be the clincher for me to get an NC-112T. Been back and forth between that or a used Aguilar DB112, a used Mesa Subway 112, a used Bass Array 12-3, and a new Barefaced One10.

Too bad Nate Navarro didn’t have a solo demo of the NC-112T cab.

Jeff did compare the 212's a few pages prior. I was expecting similar differences in the 112's from the two lines

Sorry I missed this. Between these 2 cabs listed the MG-212T is doing to be the more aggressive cab with the Neo drivers, especially on the mids. You may like that. The NC cabs will be smoother in the mids, with very deep, tight LF. They both use the same tweeter. MG cabs are more efficient, but the NC have a more organic, earthy tone.
Not to complicate the issue but the Bass Array cabs really reproduce effect pedals and distortion like no other cabs.
If traditional 2×12" cabs are your choice and u have a little time, there are a few TB users that have the NC cabs on order we will he shipping by mid May. More feedback to follow after then.

All nice cabs on your list. Here's my take, strictly personal preference (which favors light, balanced and clear cabs)...

DB112: I haven't heard this cab, based on descriptions of the voicing too mid-focused for my taste and too heavy to carry around.

Subway 112: I have played through this cab. Also mid-focused, but I've heard you can boost the bass through EQ. However, it's almost 10 pounds heavier than my MG112T-V and the spring-loaded handles are not nearly as comfortable as the Genzler bar handles.

Barefaced One10: I haven't heard this one either; seems to have great sound for being so small and light, but it's vintage voicing is not what I'm after.

Genzler BA112: This one would be hard to say no too. Although larger and heavier than the MG112T-V, it sounds superb with great dispersion. Yes, I've played through one of these...very tempting.

Again, just my personal opinions, no disrespect to any of these cabs.

Thanks, I forgot about his comparison. His description of the NC cab as smoother mids, deep tight LF and earthy organic tones has my attention.

Speaking of "sniffing around at other brands," curious to know what brand of amp and speaker you all would gravitate to if Genzler gear did not exist.

Probably Bergantino. Maybe Mesa with my newfound liking of tubes with the REDDI.

Used a real cabinet with my MG800 for the first time in a long time a few days ago while jamming with a guitarist and drummer, nothing crazy just a newer GK212.

It blows my mind how girthy but clear this amp is even while boosted with distortion and compression on the drive channel, I can't even fathom what the bass array cabinets would be like. Hopefully soon

Genzler kicking arse. I’m using a HX Stomp straight into the Return of the Genzler bypassing the Input.

A lot of praise is healed upon Genzler amps, and for good reason. But I don’t see a lot of comments about how great the power section is on these amps. It’s full and clear and quick with heaps of heft behind each note.

Yup: 10-2. Love it. Damn thing is small and light and loud and punchy. Two of them stacked is a force to be reckoned with. I have three 10-2's but have only needed two, even for outdoor shows. For the outdoor stuff all I need is to be able to hear myself. FOH and monitors do the rest. The amp stand is this one or the smaller version. I've also got a Gramma pad underneath it.

**Old man rant alert** Honestly, I don't see how you yung'ins can handle some of these stacks you're posting. 6x10 Gezler rig? 4x10 + 1x15?? Dang, man....That must be LOOUUUD! PLEASE wear ear protection and/or learn to play at lower volume levels. Take it from the ol' DG, protect your ears. **RANT OVER**

I have an MG350/12T-V combo. I've never needed more. I don't begrudge people these big rigs if they need them. No FOH, need to carry the room, etc. I sometimes wish I had a need for more as they just look awesome, but I love that I have a 1 hand carry.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: To my ears it drastically cuts the boom from hollow stages and makes the tone from my rig more consistent from room to room.

I have an MG350/12T-V combo. I've never needed more. I don't begrudge people these big rigs if they need them. No FOH, need to carry the room, etc. I sometimes wish I had a need for more as they just look awesome, but I love that I have a 1 hand carry.

Oh yeah, baby. One trip in. One trip out. I'm allllll about the easy cartage.

I use a hand truck, but same difference.

And I get why some folks might need a big rig. But seriously guys, be careful with the ears when you need the horsepower.

I contemplated ordering the 112-T along with it, but I decided to hold off until after I hear the 210-T. I may want another 210. Time will tell.
