I haven’t had a chance to try it with the Empress in front of it yet. That should be pretty sweet.
Not sure which bass to use. The fretless is always fun, but it’s been a while. The fretted P w/flats works pretty well, too. Not quite as “iffy” pitch wise.
I finally have me a 350 Head and 2 of the 10-2 arrays coming this week. Purchased the combo new and a 10-2 cab mint from original owner. Looking forward to having this for the church gigs our band does and the few festivals I'll play this year.

I believe you were previously using a pair of BA10-2s and switched to the MG12T-V for a while. I'm undecided between these two cabinets and was wondering if you might share your experiences with both.

I only went away from two of the 10-2 cabs because I wanted a 1 cab solution and thought the 12T would be it. I liked it a lot but for my taste love the array cabs much better tonally.
Thanks for your response! This is pretty much my experience as well. The MG12T-V is a great one-cab solution and the sound-per-pound is hard to believe. However, like you, I prefer the tone of the BA10-2s. Maybe I'll add a pair of BA10-2s and see if the tone justifies the two-cab haul. I have enough shows booked in June to switch back and forth and see which set-up works the best.

I got to play through the MG800 and MG212t at band practice today. Not real high volume, but my bandmates all complimented me on the tone and they were able to hear me clearly vs the 115 combo that I was using before. I was not louder than everyone else (although I could have been 
but I was able to dial in a sound that sat nicely and stood out in the mix. I am extremely happy with this rig and I cant wait to play a show with it!

For those of you using different combinations of cabs depending on the gig/size of venue/etc., do you find yourself using different settings on effects pedals based on configuration, do you handle it mostly via EQ on the amp, etc.? This came to mind as I think about a NC210+NC112 modular setup versus potentially the NC212 as a one-cabinet solution (which may be overkill for some gigs)?
I got my nu212t yesterday! I’m on the road and can’t really get into it now but, I’ll put in my 2 cents later. Great cab.

I have had limited time with them at bedroom volume so far. Initial impressions are that individually I give the 112T the slight edge in depth and weight of the tone, with the 210T no slouch in that regard with more punch.
The stack is where the real magic happens!
Full and deep, and soooo smooth transitioning from lows to highs. More of an organic tone than the Neo loaded Genzler cabs. Not sure if this is a good analogy, but sort of analog vs, digital. Very clear note definition as well.
They share the same footprint, and the portability should please most, IMHO.
They look damn sexy too!

Congrats - looks awesome! I look forward to hearing more as these show up in people's hands, and I'm hoping my local dealer gets theirs in soon so I can figure out which cab(s) to get!

Nice rig!! I totally agree with you on the 112T. That’s a pretty impressive cab for its size and weight!!

Man you guys got those cabs really quick. Thanks for the initial feedback. I think the word "organic" is a good way to describe what you're hearing. I think what you're hearing is a specific "texture" to the notes which is more responsive to a players style or technique. But either way, there is a place for those who like this type of more classic cabs and also something like the Bass Array as well. Thanks again for your support.

Well, I just ordered an MG350/BA110-2 combo with an additional BA110-2 cabinet. I have nine shows scheduled at the same venue during June, so I plan to switch back and forth between the pair of BA110-2 cabs and the single MG112T-V. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up keeping both! I'll have to throw my MG800 in the mix as well. This will be a fun month!

I love my 350/BA110 combo. Added a BA112-3 to it as well. Considering a BA115…
I debated heavily between the BA10-2 combo (that I owned) with an additional BA10-2 and the MG350 with the 12T-V. After side by side (just 1 BA10 though) with a 12T-V (that Jeff was happy to send out for me to try) I decided that they both sounded great, but I wanted a one hand/cab carry.
The 12T-V was in development while I was debating and Jeff suggested I wait as he had something coming that I might like. I did. Still do. It’s an amazing one hand solution that I think is easier to haul around than the BA10-2 combo which makes no sense but others have confirmed it with me.
I considered the BA12-3 as well. At this point the MG12T-V or the pair of BA10-2's will cover everything for the present, but if I need more volume in the future, the BA12-3 is at the top of the list to go with one or two BA10-2's.
