Nice job cutting the face plate, looks professional.
I was headed out the door last night and jumped in the car to take off. Put it in reverse and thought somethings missing....put it in park and ran inside to get the sweat towel. I put it to good use last night!
I just had another great night with the MG350 and two BA10-2 cabs. I've been using a Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass, but tonight I used my Fender Road Worn 60th anniversary jazz. It sounded great with the Genzler stack. I'll try to post pics and gig report tomorrow.

That's gotta be a great little stack. I almost went that direction but wanted to keep it to one cab. I had a Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 with a pair of 10's under it for a LONG time. I figured the new Genzler stack would be even better. I know most people are gaga over the BA cabs (and they are great) but so far, the 12T-V has been working out just fine for me.
I hear you Steve. I did try the 12T-V and really liked it. The one thing I miss a bit from the BA10-2 is the more authoritative low end of the 12T-V. My solution to the low end was to order a BA12-3 which will arrive this week. I do want to stress that the BA10-2 has plenty of low end; the 12T-V just has a bit more. As much as I like the BA cabs, a little birdie occasionally lands on my shoulder and tells me one or two 12T-Vs would be the treat. No wrong choices here!

If I needed more, I’d be inclined to have a pair of 12T-V’s I think.
OK, I thought I would share a couple of gig reports. It's always difficult to say how well a certain rig will perform due to differences in venue, band volume, desired tone and music genre, but I hope these examples give folks an idea of the surprising capabilities of the BA10-2 stack powered by the MG350. These three gigs were the largest venues I've played, and I was concerned enough that I looked into renting a big cabinet, but decided against it. I needn't have worried. Only vocals were in the PA on all three gigs (except the outdoor gig when we mic'd the kick drum).
First up is a gig my main band did in a venue that used to be a movie theatre...high ceilings, a capacity of maybe 200, with the band on the shorter wall where the screen used to be. The volume of the band was controlled but increased as the night went on. The Genzler rig (which is behind me to the left in the picture) performed flawlessly and was nowhere near full volume.
The next gig was outdoors at the Dexter Lake Club in Oregon, which was featured in the Animal House movie. On this gig the input volume and master were both at noon, which is the highest I've had the overall volume, but the rig still provided a clean, punchy foundation for the band with no sign of strain. The amp is behind my bass case since we were still setting up. By the way, the band is the Julie Nedele Band, not the Outlaw Shine as pictured on the bass drum.
The third gig was in a venue similar to the converted movie theatre, large with high ceilings. This was with my other band. Again we use a controlled volume but the sound is full. My rig is on the right of the picture, and that's a 1965 Fender Super Reverb in the middle that the lead singer/rhythm guitarist uses. Fortunately she is very aware of an appropriate volume.
So that's it, the MG350/BA10-2 stack has done a great job on every gig I've done. I did just receive a BA12-3 today to compare to the BA10-2 for additional flavors of great.

Thanks! Funny thing about the tip jar...I've never played in a band that had a tip jar, but here in Oregon it seems standard. And it does contribute to my Genzler gear fund, so I might as well label it as such!
I am just imagining the band I saw most recently, King Crimson, with Tony Levin’s tip jar out front!
Ok, I have an outdoor gig coming up this Saturday at a new (to my band) venue. I'm going to try out the BA10-2 and BA12-3 combination for the first time. I'm anticipating an excellent combination of punch, depth and clarity! I haven't decided between the MG350 and MG800 to power the cabs; the MG800 has been feeling neglected lately so maybe it will get the call.

^^^ I highly recommend the Magellan 800 to power up the B10/BA12 stack for your outdoor show. Things tend to get lost outside sometimes. So, it’s nice to have that extra wattage to keep you loud & proud!! Have a great show!!

This set up was from two weeks ago and I'm playing the same outdoor venue this Sat with a different project. This gig will be much louder and heavier. I just might need to turn up a bit. BA15-3 with BA12-3SLT and MG800. Sadowsky 4 UV jazz and a Verdine White satin deluxe. Match made in heaven and can shake them if required...

Yes, I'll be sure to give feedback on the combination. I have plenty of experience with a pair of BA10-2s so I can give a comparison with the BA12/BA10 as well.
This is an awesome rig (awesome basses as well)! I know the BA15 is a bit bigger but not much heavier than the BA12, and these posts have me thinking about adding a BA15. I also remember a post a while back that showed a stack of BA10/BA12/BA15 cabs. The only potential remedy to buying more cabs is staying off of TalkBass, but I'm not doing that.
Or anything, really. I have no problem not buying cabs as 95% of my gigging is done via DI/IEM, and the MG350/12T-V is plenty for my jazz quartet type gigging needs with an amp. Actually, except for the Stingray 5HH I played a month ago that was pretty nice, I don't have much true G.A.S. for basses anymore. I am flirting more with preamp/DI/compressor options though for my DI/IEM gigs. The Empress and REDDI are still doing it for me, but some "all-in-one" options are being considered.
