Killer rig. Love that old GB stuff. We opened for Hairball a couple years ago. Their crew was really nice to work with. Made us feel right at home.

Dude, such a killer rig!! I’d rock this all day. Way to roll in Genz Benz style!
I played the first slot of a four-band peel off last evening so I had no room for anything. I was reduced to a battery powered pedalboard.
It was also our last festival for the summer so it’s time to pack the big stage rig away for the winter…
…and get this one ready to go.

I thought I asked you this previously but I couldn't find it in the thread - what made it 'bastardized'? I know you said it wasn't a Genzler issue.
I need to quit referring to it this way as it is what it is and, as you stated, not the fault of Jeff and his team. It’s a great sounding cab. Just not what Jeff and his team intended. The prior owner glued in additional sound dampening in an attempt to make it sound like a sealed cab. I didn’t know the extent or the permanence of it when I purchased it as it would be darn near impossible to extract without damaging the original dampening.
So…bastardized…but it still sounds great.
I cut the treble out cranked the bass and played with the mids for tone. Left the contours alone or just a little of the mid scoop. Used my P with flats and an active PJ both worked great.
That makes sense. Thanks, I’ll give it a go tomorrow to see what it sounds like.
I just got the amp today and really impressed with it. Obviously, I have not had enough time yet to do much experimenting with more extreme settings. Playing it relatively flat across the preamp and contour off with a little drive added produces an awesome tone with the my P/EMG-GZR’s/TI Jazz Flats that will work for most everything I play. Dialing in the deep dub tone isn’t going to be common but occasionally it works.

Have a NuClassic 210/112 combo but Jonesin to try the BA 15-3. Anybody want to trade or just buy outright let me know.
Love my BA15-3 SLT. For me the quality that BA Array brings the the sound of these cabs is perfect for me. Can not imagine going back to a cab with a tweeter for me.
