Yes there are some pedal tuners out there. But I don't like pedals in my signal chain - except for my big one tube monster, the BVV 3000. No "tuner out" on this one, and, even more important, no mute knob. So in this case I put my Korg DT 10 in front of it, problem solved.
TRo be serious, I come on stage with an instrument that is in tune. So maybe I'll have a look or two during the set, lets say, maybe after a collision with some guys who don't give way as fast as they should....
Next thing is the lack of clip on tuners to show a low B - or A#. Most time I play 5-bangers, tuned in A#. This makes tuning with a clip-on-tuner on stage a PIA, as I have to use the harmonics to get a propper sign of the tone.
YMMV, but I learned to prefer pedal tuners, fed by a Tuner Out.
