I’ve gotta take pictures at gigs… MG212 Friday with the 90s cover band, and that cab was ROCKING. So good. I played my first wedding fill in on Saturday and brought my BA10-2 for monitoring, but we were all on in ears so I only has it there in case I had to pop the earbuds out. Such an easy to carry cab.

Two more outdoor giga next weekend, I’ll have to get some pictures!

I've been using the NC212 for close to a year now in a seriously loud band. No issues with volume, rehearsal or on stage. Would love to add a NC112 to it, but that would mean a new amp to hot 2.67ohms.

These are my favorite cabs ever and I've owned a fair number.

Picture of my beloved Genzler Magellan 350 suited with the cheaper cabinets Fender Rumble 410 + 115. My dream is to one day buy the Genzler Bass Array 15-3 SLT and the Genzler Bass Array 210-3. I had a Markbass Little Mark IV head to comparison, but I sold it. I think Genzler amplification is the best there is. Perhaps the more expencive bass heads produced by Bergantino, Glockenklang, Eich or Gallien Krueger can compete, but I think it is better economy to stay with my Genzler Magellan 350 head.

I went from the Rumble 500 combo into the world of Genzler and it was like a different world (in the best possible way). The Bass Array cabinets are certainly top of the line but don't rule out the Nu-Classic cabinets as a cost effective (but still top notch) alternative - they are a perfect solution for me.

I tend to agree. I debated between Genzler and Bergantino when I was going to update my amp. I had a Genz Benz Shuttle so Genzler was an obvious choice. I did look hard at Bergantino (I am considering their someday to be released preamp/DI pedal for my DI/IEM gigs) and they have some great stuff, but for straight forward, solid gear, I don't think there is a better choice than Genzler.

Yes, but can’t post about it. They are really two different price point cabs. With the 212, the MG series would perhaps be a better similar spec comparison instead of the NC. Though 210 comparison may be better looked at with BA series.
I guess the main comparison of NC with NXT is the Driver spec of Ceramic drivers with the NC and Neo but with advertised ceramic characteristics of the NXT. Still, 2 different price point cabs.
Maybe ask yourself would you prefer ceramic or neo drivers, and what price point you want to go for.

I went with the NC212 because it's as light as moat neo 212 cabs, but with drivers I prefer. I played neo for years and have no gripes, but weight to power, the NC is hard to beat in the sub $1k range.

I am curious as to how the berg Hds and Genz NCs compare. Currently have HD112 triple stack with the Forte HP. Zero complaints though I think the Genz cabs are considerably lighter.

It's been a while, but I have tried the Berg AE112/210, CN112/210 and HDN112/210. For my tone goals, they were all too upper mid present and got too grindy when pushed a bit. I have played the NC112 and found it to be very smooth, even and punchy with no obvious bumps or dips in frequencies. I imagine the NC210 isn't too different than the NC112, and I would choose the Genzler cabs hands down. Of course, just IMHO.

I used a pair of HD112s for a while. Nice cabs, but at 44 pounds each I moved on. I don't think you'd be giving up much at all going with Nu Classic cabs except the weight!

you might want to consider a 12T-V to that combo. I like the extra lows it adds.

Have you set the DI out to MIC instead of LINE.. LINE level is much hotter than MIC... If you are peaking out the input of your interface try switching DI out to MIC level , not LINE and see how that works for you.
If you are still overloading your interface, you may want to switch the DI out to PRE EQ. That way NONE of the changes that you make to your Amp will affect the DI out.

I run my DI out PRE EQ.. That way NONE of the changes that i make to the Input Gain, ,EQ, or Contour affects the DI out. Only the MUTE will affect the DI when in PRE EQ,

If you are running POST on the DI out all changes that you make on the amp ( except MASTER VOL) will affect the DI out.. Gain and EQ changes can cause your recording interface to overload easily..
Try setting your DI out to Pre EQ and MIC level.. That would be all switches in the DOWN position

Sorry for the inventory issues with the BA10-2 and MG350-COMBO. We've been out of stock now for several months but we that will change this fall.
