Can't quite tell but there must be an HPF on that board? If so, that's what should clear up the "boom." Does for me.

For this past weekends show I ran everything at Noon and had contour A (blue) at 9 o clock. You could always try adding the Genzler re/Q to your arsenal. It has the 5 band EQ plus the HPF/LPF filters on it. Great features for taming the boom and extreme highs.

@agedhorse i have a question for you. If you were running all three Genzler pedals in a signal chain, which order would you recommend? I’m thinking Re/Q > Crashbox > 4 On the Floor. so the Crashbox can boost the the 4OTF when they are stacked.

I would generally recommend the RE/Q last.

all 3 pedals have enough makeup gain on the output to act as a boost or cut.

That’s more personal preference, but I would suggest the O/D before the distortion.

I like having the 4otF at the front of the signal chain. Only things I have before it are an envelope filter and an always on hpf. The 4otf is my "always on" pedal. Running DI, I have it dialed up to simulate a pushed amp on the verge of break up. Dig in for more grit; back off for a cleaner tone. Super pedal.
