Genzler Amplification Club

JP: MG800 - Are you at 12 on the EQs, 10 on the Contour?
Asking for a friend. Oh, and I have dissociative identity disorder, so the friend is also me.
My rig is a touch boomy - I'm curious as to how others have their amp dialed in.

Can't quite tell but there must be an HPF on that board? If so, that's what should clear up the "boom." Does for me.

For this past weekends show I ran everything at Noon and had contour A (blue) at 9 o clock. You could always try adding the Genzler re/Q to your arsenal. It has the 5 band EQ plus the HPF/LPF filters on it. Great features for taming the boom and extreme highs.

Did a little recording last week. Such a great combo with the Genzler and the Dingwall

interesting. What about the order of the overdrive and distortion for gain staging and stacking them together?
That’s more personal preference, but I would suggest the O/D before the distortion.
