I use the GENZ/Mesa pairing and could not be happier! If I need more I will add the 213-3 to it.

Those are not actually the settings I normally use for the amp.

The 4 on the Floor does a lot of different overdrives and even some distortion, it's not a single, easily comparable sound. You might read through this thread: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/genzler-4-on-the-floor.1519762/ as well as the Sushi thread to see how players are using these pedals.

okay thank you. You really answered it for me. It’s more suppse to be an OD distortion it seems like vs just a tuby breakup sound. I mean I might still be able to achieve that tone but that’s what I initially thought of th r floor pedal it might pair great with a clean sushi just tube pedal an adding the 4 for the OD

No, the 4 on the floor goes from a naturally tubey undistorted tone all the way to a mild distortion and everywhere in between.

May I suggest that you download the owner's manuals for the different products you are looking at to see how the feature set works? There are also some good videos showing the very mildest 1st and 2nd gear operation. The circuitry was modeled after some traditional tube amp tones/textures (including the Streamliner) except without the eq/tone voicing (otherwise it might conflict with a voiced amp that it's being used with, or simply be the wrong voice for the player).

I have a pair of the Nu Classic 210 that I run with either a PF-50t, TH700 or a Quilter BB800…sounds great with all of them. I am super interested in the NC 115 now for home use. Anyone have real experience with them yet?
Pic is before I got an unfortunate tear in the grill fabric. Side question, anyone have a good resource for quality grill fabric?

I bought a NC-115 as I decided to go back to 15” cabs. I use it single or paired with my custom built 15” cab. As I do mostly original rock/electric blues, It works really well for me for the sound in my head. Mostly, the one cab by itself does the trick for my situations and the 2 are overkill. As far as moving it around, it is lighter than my other 15 cab, which was designed to be lightest available at the time. In general, I would say technology for driver and cab structure has progressed in the last few years.

@Jeff Genzler I am so glad you are putting out these awesome cabs…and I wouldn’t complain if I got an endorsement! Seriously, great sounding 210s.

I'm in a 5-piece rock & blues band and practice with a 112 but never gig with one. We have a good FOH system and IEM's so just use an amp for onstage monitoring but IME, even a stout 112 doesn't fill the stage the way a good 115 does. An amp that can drive up to 400 watts into an 8-ohm cab has enough headroom to allow me to push my onstage cab a bit and sound good. If this NC-115T can deliver the goods this way, it sounds like a good cab to try. I like the taller, vertical profile and inset handles.

I have really been loving the BA15-3 that replaced my 410-3, but I had some regrets about losing it. Guitar Center priced dropped a used BA410-3 to $899 so I had to pull the trigger. This should be huge sounding! I am pretty excited! I hope my V4B doesn’t fall off the top of the slanted stack, the 15-3 alone almost bumped it off the other day.
