Pretty sure I gigged a stage the size of the rug yesterday!
My jazz quartet, frequently, has to set up in a space about the size of the carpet the singer/guitarist is standing on... But at least we don't get paid much....
You guys should have seen the hole-in-the-wall little bitty blues clubs we played in Mississippi. Ya had to hold the bass pointed up and tight up against your body and your back tight against the wall, because the dancing was bumping into you.

This is a great upgrade over my Rumble 40, and my ELF + TC 208. I am pretty impressed how clean and full the sound is. Now I just need to get my skills up to the level of my gear.
I want to take a minute to say thank you to Jeff Genzler. When I posted here about my interest in this combo, he reached out to my by DM to see if I had any questions. That was very helpful. I asked about purchasing. Jeff said there was a dealer a couple hours from me that was going to be receiving one of these combos soon. I contacted the shop with my interest. The Shop emailed me when it arrived, and I drove down today to purchase. In the mean time, Jeff contacted the shop to let them know I was coming in. I count this as service above and beyond what I have come to expect these days. Jeff, you have a dedicated customer here. Thanks.

That is the kind of service that is NOT common these days! I had a similar case with Jeff when I had questions. Responded super quickly. Did not hesitate to make my purchase.

It amazes me that you can put everything at noon with the Magellan and use either channel or contour and get amazing tone!! I used this setting at rehearsal last night with a little nudge towards the bridge pickup. Cut like a hot knife through butter! Simply the best and easiest bass amp to get great tone!!

I always love the pictures we post of them next to our basses, to show how tiny the combo is. More of you should try them! They are very practical for small venue use, which many of are are doing these days.

Indeed. I was stunned when I saw this combo in person. Yes, next to basses is a good perspective. Let me add another comparison.
My new MG350 + BA10-2 combo next to my Fender Rumble 40 (what most could call a compact portable combo). The Genzler is pretty impressive by all measures.
More sound from that little thing than seems physically possible.
I played through my BA10-2 S2 combo at home this afternoon and was yet again astounded.
Yep, It's an awesome sounding little speaker cab. Two of them make a very potent and capable light portable stack. They sound absolutely breathtaking with the now discontinued Aguilar TH-350 head on top.
Absolutely Love my combo and extension cabs!

Hello everyone,
Newer Bass Player here. I am a singer/ songwriter, not in a band, and initially started exploring bass for the purpose of recording. I ended up falling in love with bass and how it made me look at music differently. I then bought a Fender Jazz Bass . I started to search for my first amp when I stumbled upon the Genzler sound and absolutly loved it! I wanted to get a practice amp I could grow into as my best friend who records with me is a drummer. I purchased the Genzler 350 amp and the Nu Classic 210. As someone who is a total newb I have some questions. First, will turning the 350 up all the way blow my amp as its only 175 watts trying to push 500w cab? Also, when I purchase another cabinet (next year) to make full use of the amp… would you all suggest another 210? 112? 115? My music is primarily spiritual folk music but percussive. Thanks everyone.

I don't think you will need to turn the amp up all the way, so that should not be a problem.
Many people tend to get a second of the same cab, but there are no rules. You could get a 112 or 115 and I am sure it would sound good.
If loudness-wise all you need is one cabinet you may want a different cab to have an optional alternative tone. If however the purpose of the second cab is to be louder then I recommend a twin to your present cab, if you are happy with the tone. I believe that you will find it far easier to sound good with matching cabinets UNLESS you are using separate amps with separate tone controls.

I second this. I use 2 12BA-3s and a BA15 with two MG350s, more to control the volume of the 12s vs. the 15 than to change the EQ (I also run stereo FX so that gets the stereo signal to the FOH and ears). It's such a versatile setup and just about every FOH person reacts with "Wow, what is that rig? It sounds great!"
