Genzler Amplification Club

hey guys, so the unit on the teaser on the Genzler Facebook page is stamped "Tube Bass Pre amp" now do you guys think this is a preamp unit or a head with hybrid tube preamp?

Either way, I've been digging my Laney Digbeth (granted, not a true hybrid head), and Fuchs FBT so much that I wanted to try out other flavors in the hybrid tube head space there were, so I was close to shopping for a Milkman Half and Half, or Fender Bassman 800, but it's safe to say that is on pause for now until I see what's in store for us on Tuesday (4/30)!

Yeah, stay tuned. Mum's the word until the official launch.

Man, I would love to see a Genzler take on a compressor pedal. That's not what's coming, but it's what I'd love to see that down the road sometime.

A quick/1176 style section plus an opto/LA-2A section, the ability to put either one first in the chain, and the ability to parallel it all with the dry signal. And nevermind the price, go for the best you can make happen in a pedal format. Or a 1U or 2U rack format, for that matter. Oh, I dare to dream!

And decent metering! I'm far too visual when adjusting a compressor, but it is what it is...

Looks a little bit wide to be a preamp unit. Yes, pause! Must know more.

It actually says "Tube Pre:::::Bass Amp". Draw your conclusions from that.

You know it, Maxi!
I've been needing an new amp for years. But the past few years decided to get 2 high end basses 4HH & 5H Stingray Specials & my 1st P style bass a Charvel PJ IV. I was all set on the Magellan 800 but lately I was leaning towards the Mesa WD-800 because of the tube preamp. But this settles it for me will pair perfectly with my Magellan Pre & will add a NU-212!!! Sometimes holding out works in ones favor. On top of all that I've never played a Genz-Benz or Genzler product I did not like.

Here ya go, kids! The Genzler Kinetix 800! Can't believe I got to post this first.

Here's where the product page will be on the GA site: https://genzleramplification.com/shop/kinetix-800/

Look at that Lean / Thick / Fat switch! HA!

This is from the web search preview text - the actual page is still 404. "Our circuitry and mechanical designs within the KINETIX™ 800 deliver an all-new platform in tube preamp, compact bass amplification design - exactly what players have come to expect from the GENZLER® design team. From natural, pristine, quick responsive..."

We are all done for, basically. I don't need one but I covet it so badly I will get one. Looks great, Jeff! Attention, Greg Bump!

Six-stage tube preamp makes us all automatically think Streamliners. I also find myself wondering if there will be a Kinetix 350..

Well looks like this has become a TB sneak peek. Full info on April 30. We tried tried to keep it hush-hush until the launch date, and got pretty close.
