Genzler Amplification Club

? for Genzler hive mind: I have a NuClassic 210 and a Barefaced 210 (not used together....live in different locations).....am looking to add a bit more beef/true low end.......am considering adding a NuC15 to pair with the 210, or a 15-3 Array to put under the Barefaced. The rudimentary numbers online suggest that the 15-3 is a much deeper sounding cab, but I have no use for anything below about 45 Hz. Thoughts? Thx

I'm pretty sure the NC115 with the NC210 will pair up really well.
Did you see:
Genzler Amplification - NU Classic New Classic Bass Cabinets Review - Nate Navarro

The Barefaced 10CR cabinets have an unusual port design - whether that impacts how it synergizes with other designs, I do not know.
Unless you can find someone who has used that specific combination, I'd be wary (or at least ask Alex about it).

Yes I listened carefully to Navarro's review and that's clearly the safest bet, but I do love the BF as well and having an anchor under it is also very appealing. I do not want more of same, however.

You should probably email Alex and ask him about it.
After listening to Nate's demo of the NC115 (which also included the NC210), I thought the NC115 sounded better by itself than with the NC210.

No better cure for a cold snowy New England winter than to book a tour in Florida.

Tried out my Magellan 800 with the new Ampeg VB-88 cab last week at rehearsal. Ran straight into the Magellan with no pedals and decided to use the drive channel at higher gain, lower drive level. It sounded quite good. Had a tube preamp sound to it, or pretty close to it.

I may start using the drive channel like that all the time.
