Genzler Amplification ! New Genz Benz ?

FYI there is a mint Uber 115/1288 stack FS/local pickup in NY in the classifieds at a great price right now.
I wish I needed/could rationalize/pretend I need them :)

I still love my good old GBE, not only for its preamp section, but for hs power, clarity and volume.
.
About 5 times auf week I play this behemot, together with auf Tecamp L 810 @4 Ohm or auf Tecamp L 215 @8 Ohm.

Both combinations are sweet, but after some time now I prefer the 215 @ 8 Ohm. The big amp will deliver about 600 Watt to the cab, and this is fine for me. The cab is 800 watt @ 8 Ohm.

The L810 is able to handle 2400 Watt @ 4 Ohm. So there sure is more mid range in the 810, and I like it more with my Bugera BVG 3000. But with any cab there is lot of power, volume and headroom.

Did I say I still love my GBE 1200?

Nice seeing you at SNAMM, Jeff!

Thanks Tom,
Great to see you and Vic as well. It was nice to be at a NAMM show and have the time (and space) to talk to everyone in a more casual environment. I'm sure we'll be talking more soon.

I actually think I would prefer detents just more of them. Being able to index a setting to a known position would be very helpful indeed.

My old Tubeworks amps have potentiometers that click into each position instead smoothly turning. I like the feel, but I've looked into trying to get replacements and have struck out. But Tubeworks was bought by Genz-Benz, so....hmm.
