Genzler Amplification ! New Genz Benz ?

Since it has Magellan livery and is smaller than the 212T but bigger than the 112T, I am going to guess that this is a prototype of the Magellan 115T. I'm also going to guess that since all the other Genzler cabs utilize Faital Neo drivers, this one will use an OEM version of the 15PR400 as it is both the least expensive Faital Neo and has some precedent for bass guitar usage. Since the Magellan 112T costs ~$700 and the 212T cost ~$1100, I am going estimate a price tag of $900 for this one.

I would say that's probably pretty accurate, with my guess at pricing landing at $849.

Interesting information but it is not a 15 model.
We are road testing the design right now.

Hey guys,


I just received my custom made cases from TLC custom covers in Australia. It took about 3 weeks to come as they had to be custom made and it took about 4 or 5 days to arrive after being shipped but we'll worth the time and every penny! Very nice quality and they were very reasonably priced. I purposely had them leave their stitched logo off it so I can have it custom embroidered with my "nine-and-three-quarters" logo on the each case.

Yes wish I could take the credit but t'ber "MichaelOz" is where I got the ideal. He posted pictures of his covers in a earlier post. I inquired about them and he told me where to get them. I do remember him saying that Julie from TLC recommended that he have feet installed there since it was opposite to the handle and more likely the side that would sit on the ground. Worked out perfect! I think he lives out in Australia so they already had the dimensions of the cab. But they will make covers for anything.

OK guys my buddy came over the other day to check out the Genzlers and the MG800. He actually took a video of me playing out of 3 of the Genzlers and the MG800. The 800 is sitting at the bottom close to the floor on his cab which was a Aguilar 112 which by the way I must admit didn't sound to hot coming out of the Aguilar when we A/B'd them. I don't think the head was a good match at all for the cab. Or maybe the BA-123's was just so much more alive sounding than the Aguilars cab. The BA's definitely had more definition, bass and tone. I think the Aguilar was the neo stuff. Anyway here's a link to the sound clip of the Genzlers and the Magellan 800. If you can put on some headphones so you hear the harmonics that I'm playing in the song. This is one of the songs that I will be recording on my jazz album soon. Keep in mind that this was recorded with a phone mic so you won't hear every nuance and detail but can definitely hear the projection of mids well. The clip is definitely missing bass. Enjoy and please excuse the sloppy playing. Still working on the tune...lol:D:bassist:

Looking good there.

Julie from TLC is absolutely terrific, she called to make sure the dimensions were correct, placement of handle, and she suggested the rubber feet as well.
Have had mine for three months now, very happy, and they are very reasonably priced. My shipping was pretty cheap because yes, I am in Melbourne, Australia.
