Ah, I do recall reading something about that. All the more reason to design what I'm suggesting into the product from the start! Honestly, i'd be happy with an integrated handle, knob protection, and some sort of skeleton rubber edge bump guard... So I don't need a bag or rack.

My preference has nothing to do with the [misconceived] notion that all imported electronics are crap and everything to do with my interest in seeing NYC's manufacturing industries recover.
I never said it did. I have no idea why you feel like manufacturing is a necessity for the NYC area, though. Personally I find low-skill manufacturing jobs to be best suited to robots. I am much more interested in seeing what people can achieve outside an assembly line.
Nothing wrong with wanting Americans employed. Every country should want their people employed. I can't imagine Jeff would have more than a couple guys assembling amps if he went the route he did with Genz Benz, though. At least at first. And in the meantime, he'll still be giving more Americans jobs than I do

.It isn't a necessity per sè, but it is certainly a value add for me to be able to take public transportation to the factory, broken amp in briefcase, and have it fixed on the spot. Just how I roll I guess.

I already wrote a song where the first verse was "Tree snakes are eating Guam alive." Can't understand why Taylor Swift passed on it, thought I had my meal ticket punched.
Also, GK assembles (makes?) all their stuff in the US and it manages to be affordable and awesome sounding. Aguilar & Mesa do the same albeit at higher price points. The more the merrier I say!

I wonder how much of the technology the GB team developed was patented, and if any, I wonder if Mr. Genzler can use any of these patents in his new endeavors?
Actually yes, along with the Epifani PS410 that I
didn't realize was made in a third world country.
Both items were in the same shop. it wasn't a complete waste as they did have nps lo-riders;

China doesn't give a damn about patents! I know it was Taiwan but close enough
OTOH, 2 ohms is important to me. I like using my easy-to-carry three CN112 tower on most gigs. Fortunately my Thunderfunk 800-B2 handles the load, or a pair of GK MB800's works too. But more choice would be cool!
I have to agree. I play it more frequently than any of my other amps! What a great design!
That's good news. I own a ShuttleMax 9.2 which I think is one of the best amps ever build. I am looking forward to see what's coming next from Jeff Genzler. I hope the new products are not impacted by any legal claims with Fender.
