Unfortunately, I got one of the very first of the redesigned Fusions and it had so many recalls on it, it was kind of crazy. So I paid it off, drove it for a year for free, then did my lease. I still miss it, but I was afraid I might break down somewhere. Probably an unfounded fear.Understood. The earth has gotten so much smaller and easy to share trade secrets when big companies swallow up the smaller ones. My old college flame also bought a Ford Fusion she still has and loves it. Says it feels very solid and is very dependable on maintenance.

But, speaking of cars, I just brought home a new lease from Honda. Opted for a Civic Hatchback this time, which kind of takes me full circle since a 1984 Civic Hatchback was the first new car I ever owned. The one I have now is pretty cute, and it has a nice cargo area for hauling gear. I put gear in it today for the first time. Yay for gigs.
