I've never gotten into gaming, so I am completely lost within these discussions about them. Being killed and then put back onto your horse alive is an interesting concept, however.![]()
Not a great deal different, really. Being dead is no excuse for taking time off work (to loosely quote Time Bandits). We run back to the site of our demise from the graveyard. There is a spirit guy at the graveyard who will resurrect you on the spot in exchange for gold, additional damage to your gear and greatly decreased health for 15 (? I forget) minutes as you overcome resurrection sickness. Otherwise run back (fly back if inaccessible by foot) and go back to work taking down that boss. There's Phat Lewt to be had.
The raid - or the kind of raiding I grew up with before any cartoon class maroon could raid - is as complex an affair as I've encountered. Yeah and how we raided Black Temple and that's more fun that some may think should be legal. Just the sheer amount of work it takes to hold a raiding guild together is worthy of a medal. Just the amount of work it takes to run a guild is worthy of a medal ....
