Do I detect a bit of experience with this? :smug:

Likely a personality aspect unknown to one who may only appear ruthless (I wonder where Ruth is?) binning things that no longer serve.

Perhaps, though, to play the game, if there were one physical item no longer in my possession I would be happy to have again, that would be

revising a little

If I had to have one physical item lost in time that would be

that stereo system I owned circa 78 would be pretty kewl. Yah okay that. And none of this weird "every wish has some sort of unpleasant Twilight Zone catch stuff either! So no "one item is all you get" nonsense. One speaker is not a stereo system, and this has to happen in this present reality, thanks.

Speaking of where the time goes, it's the 55th anniversary of the premier of Gilligan's Island. Tina Louise on the left is now 85 years old. Not sure how old Julia Louis-Dreyfus is, aka Dawn Wells in the center.

Recalling reports the US Coast Guard received calls demanding they rescue the seven stranded castaways. Not headed to Snopes to confirm or debunk. It's utterly believable for me, having met my share of humans in these 63 (and counting) years.

:roflmao: "Elaine", from Seinfeld, was just 3 years old 55 years ago. But, you're right, she would be the logical choice for a remake. "Mary Ann" may have seemed younger but, she was 26, and 2 years married, when the show started. She's 80 now. She and Tina Louise are the last remaining survivors of the island.

Ask Alexa, or Siri, or (insert AI deity of choice).

We're back from the Shadows again
Out where an In-jun's your friend
Where the vegetables are green
And you can pee right into the stream

Read me Doctor Memory?

Hey man he broke the president!

AI is a buzzword used by people trying to get funding. There’s nothing special about it, just very detailed algorithms for solving problems.

What’s scary is handing over decisions to machines and people loosing the ability to diagnose. A lot of younger doctors blindly input symptoms into a computer and have it come up with a course of action that often involves a lot of expensive tests. That’s AI. An good practitioner will use experience and common sense to figure out what is going on. I’ll take the latter in a heartbeat.
