Okay, so I see a prime consideration for being a G.O.F. is that Frank Zappa had to be a part of our lives in some way. :bassist:

Dinah Moe!!!!! :hyper:

But of course! I had the pleasure of seeing Frank in 1991 in Buffalo with the great Scott Thunes on bass; a supremely memorable show. And got to see ZPZ open for RTF in '12 at UB; the Dweez is such a kind and generous soul, who spent the entire time after his set meeting with fans, signing autos and just casually chatting. Yo Cats!

Yeah, he did the same at the show I went to. What I thought was pretty amazing is that, unlike most guys, before a single note was played, he talked about Frank for a while, and about how much it meant for Dweezil to play his dad's music. :bassist:

#95 saying hello..
….sorry, just slammed a mosquito to death against the wall… they are inside now… kinda been raining a lot.
Marmaduke continues to amaze with intelligence and pure joy through helping. Usually have to ask him to go get the paper (down the 50 yard driveway), but the other day he: opened the spring loaded glass door (works like a screen door outside the solid door), chased off that vehicle that stopped at the edge of the property, and brought back the paper; let himself in (Duke's able to use his claws to grip and pull the exterior glass door and open it), and brought Master his paper while he sat at the kitchen table.
proud papa:cigar:

Darned critters keep coming to the baited traps. There was one both mornings on the weekend, resulting in some spade work in the vicinity.

And what are they? Raccoon dogs, or "tanuki", an invading species here. There seems to be no shortage, and I'd like to my part in exterminating these to see more waterfowl, and keep them off my property. They annoy the hell out of me.

What is your bait? Are trying to catch something else? Racoons are smart pernicious critters. Population down here in Louisiana is high. Some old timers swear that cleaned properly they make a delicious meal. Cajuns figured out how to cook most anything the walks are crawls or swims… poor bastards were starving to death and were French… omnivores! o_O

The initial bait was another raccoon dog I caught in a smaller trap, that was lured in by some moose gristle scraps. From there on, rinse and repeat. They are very cannibalistic. And no thanks, I won't cook these for food.
Damnation! I thought that was the bait…
The Tanuki isn't actually related to raccoons at all though.
Yeah, whatever Rust is dealing with is a whole 'nother critter-- neither dogs nor coons will go cannibal. No one in the bayou needs those varmint's around; hold the line in Finland, Preacher!

That thing looks like a cross between a badger, armadillo, and Pomeranian; with a little suburban Cougar-Mom thrown in to consume everything within reach.

I'm thinking I should pay somebody an exorbitant amount of money to stick their fingers up my ass and tell me the backside of my balls are Ok.

Any takers?

I not only recognized the songs on the muzak at the grocery store...I enjoyed them.

Had the same experience, but nuts appear OK. Heard a Muzak version of What Is And What Should Never Be in Piggly Wiggly. It was like I crossed to the other side and that's what Angels jam to in Heaven.
