Seems to keep creeping faster. Misses the groove. Crossroads Polka?
I found some video of the classic rock/pop band I was in years ago.
Crummy audio on most of it, sadly, so is the band, too.

Ginger's like a metronome in that from beginning to end, if you skip through it you'll hear that he's not rushing. But yeah, what I hear is not grooving somehow, at all. Can't say why.
I think it should be about the song, not showcasing what the band could do. They are musically fighting each other.
Kicks is a great song to play. Always like doing Raiders and Beatles songs.

I have had eleven days from Hell.
On 10/22, while returning from our first RV trip, pneumonia caused me to have a "face plant" in a gas station parking lot. Twenty-six hours later, I woke up in a hospital ICU missing one tooth, my hearing aides and glasses. I am now back home with a walker, oxygen and a pile of meds. At least I can see and hear now and back to the land of the living!

I didn't mention that, while this was going on with me, my wife had to go to ER for bronchitis and while there she got word to evacuate our house due to the NorCal Fires.. She had to move into a hotel 50 miles away...we are home now and just a little gun-shy!
Yikes, I hope that recovery sees you both back to normal.
You just went through the stress of the heart monitoring. The fire related smoke that blankets the sky takes a toll on the pulmonary system.

Oh, jeez.. I'm glad you made it through all of that. Hopefully that pneumonia will clear up and you'll be doing better soon!
Yes, the whole thing was fast. They played it fast like that a lot when they were in their prime, maybe to show off, as someone said above. I've noticed Clapton's later versions are significantly more relaxed.
