Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I got to see Spirit in a small club in Columbia, MO in '79. No fungal stimulation was necessary - excellent show! The drum set did not have any bass drums for toms, but the man can play...
As I was 19 and from a very small town brother and I were so naive-- I would never do anything like that now.... :rollno:

Mac people tend to obfuscate in Swift.

Maybe I be a lil’ bit slow but what the heck is swift?

It’s been an up down kinda week! Tried to cash in my winning lottery ticket yet again only to be asked where I bought it. As I couldn’t remember they refused to cash it. Now I have to go downtown Toronto to get it cashed!!! All the messing around has tarnished the whole experience!!!! :(

The winnings were going to be for one of Andy’s 800+ amps but fate intervened! First our carpet shampooer went kaput. $240 gone for a new one.

I noticed some rust starting on my Jeep. On taking it in to my dealership I discovered that the Master Shield I bought is still in effect! It’s covered!! YEA!!! It goes in Monday for repair.

Yesterday our HVAC company came in to fix a problem in one of the three gas fires installed in our house. When Toronto was his with a devastating ice storm killing all electricity in our area, having the three on and the doors open kept the house at 68 degrees.. He tells me that both free standing units were recalled in 2012 as dangerous and had to be disconnected and the supply capped off. Why they were happily charging me for seven years to service these recalled fireplaces I have yet to discover. I have contacted the manufacturer, which has been bought out by an American company, to see what they will do. I feel that as they sold me defective equipment they should replace them at their cost. I’m waiting to hear back.

Suffice to say my new amp is out the window! :(

Yeah with Mercury no longer retrograde we have to make up new excuses for general all the general wear and tear of whatever it is we do here. :roflmao:

Been kinda bummed about the diagnosis of osteoarthritis in my feet. What it means to me is a minimum of two months out of commission should I elect to do the fusion. On the plus side that means a great deal of practice time.

One thing or another, new blood work orders are in. That makes for a 12 hour fast tonight. All depends on what hour I want to go into the lab. Usually a short wait there. Then can make a direct line to the hospital cafeteria to break that fast. It's a pretty good cafeteria! Breakfast made to order at a great price (half or less what I would pay at a regular hash house). Hm. Haven't had eggs and corned beef hash in a long while! And that's a pretty good thing for me to think about tonight as today is the first day I've been able to eat since Monday. Friday breakfast sounds good already.

So yes, all fingers and toes accounted for.

Swift is the language that Apple uses for their operating systems. It can compile several versions of C.

What is Apple Swift? - Definition from WhatIs.com

Well done with the lottery win!

I looked it up, assuming OLG. Look on the bottom left above the signature for the retailer number. Buy a ticket from each of your normal places and compare the retailer code, 010564 in this example, with that on your winning ticket.

All the best with your ongoing diagnose and treatment. Try to keep your outlook positive.
