Black Friday, Baby’s In Black

The Beatles always played this song slower in live performances which leads me to believe that they sped up the song on the original recording. The remaster sounds too fast.

As live performances became more of a hassle they probably looked forward to slowing the pace with this waltz as much as they could.

And with well wishes already underway, or undersay, what might we have but

The osteoarthritis that left its calling card with both my knees and a shoulder is a persistent and annoying visitor. Both knees are full replacements so I have a pretty fair idea what I'm in for should it come to fusion.

Yikes! Osteoarthritis has been an unwelcome guest with me for many years. I think that glucosamine helps, but it's no miracle cure.

May you quickly find a relief from that pesty joint pain!

Living with pain is never easy. On the positive side, it makes you a better blues player. I had a major knee operation many years ago with lingering effects. In a small way, I can relate.
