Been away at an art show (we spent too much money, but we always support artists).
All appendages accounted for (and all working to perfection).
Met someone yesterday, (the husband of one of the aforementioned artists); he was wearing a grey leather kilt at the show! The two of them do Celtic Cross embroidery wall hanging art. We've bought from them a number of times in the past, I guess this was the first time she let David out of his cage.Hadn't seen her at the shows for a couple of years, so it was great to see Jane, and meet her husband, finally.

Old artwork is always impressive. The embroidery is highly detailed. Graves were adorned.
Ancient lace is awe inspiring. To think that people could do that sort of flawless work by hand. Then there's fabrics.

"Six weeks" is the time out of commission for the fusion surgery, the doctor says today. It ain't noticeably better with the cortisone, tissue won't regrow, no Fountain of Youth discovered.

It's like a bad car accident...I had to listen to it, for the first time in about 50 years. It reminded me of the "Wake Up Little Susie" rhythm guitar hook with some Elmo slide and Robert Plant doing a very unflattering Stevie Nicks impersonation. I'll check it out again in another 50 years if I remember.
