Carnies will violate anything with legs or a name! :roflmao:

(BTW, I think that you spelled her name wrong.
I know Ms Oral Clause, nice girl, related to the North Pole Clauses.)

My estimation of violating the moral clause of carnies sounds like "someone's daughter".

Big fan of Flora Purim. Once nearly bought a berimbau because of her husband. "Nearly bought" meaning the day I find one in a shop is also a day I am just a little short of coin. Going to say that's my version of the story.

One of the songs I do in our group is "6 Days on the Road". There's a line in there: "I just passed a 'Jimmy'[that's a GMC]and a White"-2 prominent big truck* makers at the time. I changed it to "a Mack and a White". GMC's been outta the big truck market for 20+ years.

* as in tractor/trailer
Nowadays the reference to a logbook would be archaic. I suspect Georgia overdrive might be outdated too.

Back in the early '80s a friend and I got a berimbau lesson from Nana Vásconcelos in the back alley of the Columbus Agora after a Chick Corea show (Tap Step tour with Bunny Brunel on bass). :hyper:

It's early afternoon, and time for a >

I always feel like I oughta throw in "that's downhill in neutral, ya know".
I know that. Three of my uncles and four of my cousins know that. Couple of my fest friends know that. At least one of my brothers knows that, plus two stepbrothers who actually live and drive tractor trailers in Georgia. Anyone in the audience who doesnt know most likely would just wonder why why you cant accelerate downhill in an 18 wheeler....if they thought about it at all.

So much for this installment of Convoy. We now return you to your regularly scheduled episode of GOFs with basses.

Uncertain if I paid money to see any trucker movies? Did pay money to see Billy Jack. o_O

Well what's it going to be, Beer Nuts and a draft, or sea urchin and quail egg with sake? Depends on where you are? ... actually, one of the best Japanese restaurants I ever enjoyed is in Dublin. So, coincidentally, is the best draft. There's Tayto's.

Interesting. Best pizza I ever had was in Hong Kong. Best Polish food, Longwood, FL. (northeast Orlando)
