Happy Blues Monday GOFs
Geese also make minefields.
One of my offices was on a massive campus with a heliport. It's the sort of place of obvious display of money and power, with acres of crafted views and a pond in the middle of a premium real estate plateau. Geese took to the pond on their own. Corporate countered with a pack of dogs trained to chase the geese at the sound of an incoming helicopter.
Watching the dogs at work inside their invisible fence is one of the (minor) benefits of a meeting room with a view. There was one dog different from all the others everyone knew as The Happy Dog. One of The Happy Dog's tricks was to sit outside the invisible fence until it was time to go to work.
Changes in corporate shifted the campus to other owners and the dogs were re-homed. The Happy Dog was adopted by a DJ. He and the dog were on a stroll when they came across a flock of geese. How about it, once more for old times' sake? he asked the dog. The dog looked him in the eye to say nope, retired now.
