I've seen old people priority parking. Not sure how you qualify.

One of life's little necessities - body disposal. Yeah, meek old me has to do it occasionally. ;) Okay, it wasn't human, so technically, it was a carcass. I noticed upon my return from a grocery run, one of the local fox had expired overnight. I'm getting over a cold and not in a mood to deal with it, but it's relocated to another bit of unused real estate where the carrion eaters can feast on it. The last disposal was a few years ago. I never did figure out why that river otter was so far from the river...

Saturday reprise.

When The Beatles broke out of Liverpool, a group of girls thought that they'd form a band and grab some of that fame. They progressed from not playing at all to a touring group in a short timeframe. A lot of kids tried doing that. They did alright.

Some of the other Liverpool bands that were Beatle contemporaries.

David, I can't thank you enough for posting the two videos. Talk about a walk down memory lane! Hessy's music store where I would buy my strings. Where I saw my Gibson EB0F on the wall after it had been stolen from the 21 Club on Croxteth Road. The sights, sounds and accents moved me. I had forgotten many of the folks featured especially the Liverbirds.

In the second video there's a banner that goes by mentioning Earl Preston, real name George Spruce, and the TTs. I joined his band, The Reflections, later in the Sixties. It's the band I was playing in when I met my Dorothy. She was Seventeen.

I can't get this silly grin off my face!!!

Listening to the music through this new MacBook was an out and out pleasure.

Glad that you liked it Paul. There were a few other videos from that era that came up. A Rory Storm one from when Ringo was in the band, etc.

I tend to wait too long between computer upgrades. The difference is usually stunning, as you've found out.
