One of my bucket list meetups at NAMM. Rick Turner probably has as much or more to do with me building onboard preamps and music widgets in general as anyone out there, alive or otherwise.

I have met with him a couple of times at the two shops he had/has;The one on Fern Drive in Topanga Canyon, and his current shop in Santa Cruz, plus we've spoken on the phone a couple times. I had both his RB4-FL and an RB5-FL, both fretless basses, over the years.

Here is one of my recordings I did with the 5-string.



This one was with the 4-string fretless Rick Turner bass. I also wrote this song and played the acoustic guitar on the right channel - my old Larrivée LV-19 Special Vine Edition (a very rare guitar, less than a handful were ever made, according to Larrivée).
