Also had some sort of record brush that lived in a brown box. Squirt fluid on the leading edge from a tiny red bottle, is what I recall. The brush had "one way" bristles, and seem to recall the brush was made with a hole to store the bottle.
Jettisoned all the classical collection circa 81 and no real clue how I held on to it that long. Operas and such took up a lot of room. Comes a point in life when it feels best to be free of all my accumulated baggage. Couple odd things I miss just to have again. The old stereo system and non-classical records are right up there.
Always love B&O designs. These days it's possible to outfit your shiny ride with a B&O factory-equipped stereo.

Small world - I work two blocks away from where DiscWasher used to be located in Columbia, MO.
I received one of these yesterday. Bluetooth speakers are quite popular, even in some studio applications. It's the size of a lunchbox. The sound is pretty good, rich and full. Good room volume level for a small portable speaker.
I've been using it to stream music from an iPad. Latency is not an issue. Videos viewed on the pad do not have sync problems that I can see. It works well.

There are people out there who swear you can clean up an old record by coating it in wood glue, letting it dry, and peeling it off.
It seemed to work for this guy.
It's worth a shot. The glue doesn't seem to stick to vinyl records like it would to other surfaces.
I've seen museum restoration specialists cleaning paintings using an old technique, a sticky flour and water mixture, applied and pulled off. The dough manages to penetrate into small areas and effectively removes contaminates. I've used this in amp restorations with good results.
