I'm sorry, @Jeff Scott , my bad.... it was recorded at Garden Grove Community Church, Garden Grove, CA.
I don't know why I was thinking Cleveland.
Either I do have something of his recorded there, or it's just old age.
This one was performed August 28~31, 1977 direct-to-disc for Crystal Clear Records, and was simultaneously recorded on digital tape for eventual release by Bainbridge on CD as "The Digital Fox", volumes One and Two.
These were the first digital recordings in the United States, and unfortunately, Mr Fox's last of any kind.
There are very interesting liner notes detailing why Virgil chose this church and its organ, which contained 6,791 pipes in 116 ranks with 108 stops.
It was built by Fratelli Ruffatti of Padua, Italy.
Again, sorry for getting your Cleveland memories all stirred up for nothing.

There are some nice cathedrals around here that have pipe organs, so just wondering if it was one I'd been to.
If you get up to L.A. (not sure where you live) do go to a recital or concert at First Congregational Church.

We Made It
is on of the human-settled exoplanets in Larry Niven's universe.
Don't need no rocket ship, we do this every freakin' day. We Made It.
Here it is on the day that on this side of the international dateline we agree to be Sunday. All these pipe organs and church and such. The Church can be pretty harsh on the academics it hires (my generation was taught about Galileo), but mostly treats its musicians all right.
The Duomo di Milano Milan Cathedral - Wikipedia is next to the Galleria (at left, facing the Duomo). The Galleria is a shopping mall constructed so that the four intersecting wings form a cross. A tile mosaic of an anatomically correct bull is at that intersection.
Lore has it a lady will be granted a wish by doing the ritual of first stomping, and then spinning three times on her heel of - you certainly know where. The source of Rocky Mountain Oysters (that taste, predictably, like veal).
Observing the women who perform this ritual is an afternoon of free entertainment. After one joins in, naturally. Now about that wish ....
