Well, another Funky Friday has come to pass.
Finished delivering two of my employers prefab mobile cold storage units to Army Corps of Engineers near DFW yesterday, and I'm on the final leg back home.
Considering the times, don't ask why there might be an immediate need for extra cold storage in an urban area.
Nursing two sprained ankles (one bad, one...meh) which makes overcoming 100lbs of clutch pedal pressure....uh.............interesting.
So, for all my fellow GOF's who may be getting a little cabin fever, my gift to you is the next ten minutes.
Some good old 70's style funk. Crank it up, do the Frug, the Watusi, your best Snoopy's Happy Dance!
Let your freak flag fly. Bounce around the house and tell me it doesn't put a smile on your face.

Do the kids say "bad", as in these tunes are pretty bad?
My next-door neighbor wouldn't believe me when I told him that Jimi played with Wilson.
I have no idea if kids say "bad" anymore. I have no idea what is current in regards to slang used by young people other than "obvi".
My 10 year old granddaughter is of the opinion that I am so far out of date that I am both hopeless and decidedly unhip.
Do kids still say "hip"?

Definitely! You should have seen her face when I told her that the TV we had when I was her age was B&W, had a screen the size of a tablet, and that we could watch a total of 2 channels.
