Are you spending a little too much time in your pj’s at the moment?

Starting to eat most of your meals over the kitchen counter?

Feeling like your music is the only thing that’s keeping you (sort of) sane?

Relax, you’re not the only one...

Build your own TARDIS

... actually up every day at a respectable hour, dressing each day as if I were to be seen in public, cooking well, playing bass daily with clear goals :)

Does your car wear a mask?

Last night I changed my cabin air and the engine intake filters. Everbody is breathing easier. If only I had somewhere to drive. We are not allowed to leave the neighborhood without cause. So I bought gas, they were almost giving it away. Self serve and pay with a credit card at the pump only. Why can’t they do that at the ice cream store? Then drove a bakery that I normally walk to. Still, nice to exorcise the car.

The "craft" beer boom has saved the American brewer in my eyes. Starting with Sam Adams Bert Grant, American breweries seem to be catering more and more to the refined taste buds. The varieties and different brewing processes available now bring me much joy. Now, if we Americans could just be convinced that freezing the tongue is not necessary to enjoying the brewmasters art....

Just couldn't let that one go, sorry!

Let me know what band you're playing in. When this is over I hope to get out and hear some music here in Santa Rosa.

I wish I was playing in a band here in Santa Rosa, @spoonido! I am still trying to get back some of my "chops" from the '60's. After not playing for 50 years, I am using the time during this unfortunate shut-down to do just that.

When this is over, I look forward to at least meeting with fellow bassists and sharing our music and good times. That is why I started the Bassists of the '60's club, a link to which is in my signature below. I don't feel bad in advertising this club as we are not-for-profit, just fun and entertainment;).

I guess on the long hiatus for some folks I've been lucky. I don't gig as often as I used to but I try to play every night along with YouTube. I also do a LOT of typing at work so it helps me maintain my dexterity. Yesterday an old friend guitar player called me and wants to do an 80's tribute. I'm all for that. Might throw in a bunch of 70's too, like Allman Brothers, maybe some Doors etc.
