Some trains in Canada have gotten the nickname "Moose Gooser". They stand in the middle of the tracks and 'challenge' the train. Is it normal for them to wonder into town?
That’s the size that I see on smaller sized roads. They don’t look before crossing the road, they just trot out. You better have time to hit the breaks. When you stop, you hope that they don’t charge into you. This happens to me once in a while. I encounter deer dashing out of the side brush with their babies more often. The does runs out, the young ones follow. I always drive slower than the posted limit on these roads just in case.
One guy was following one on a bumpy back road. He didn’t want to pass, the road was too narrow. The moose got ticked off, turned and charged. He threw the truck into reverse and floored it. Fortunately, the moose just took a few steps at him as a warning.

This reminds me of this radio station call regarding the deer crossing signs.
This caller is the reason we have "instructions" on a shampoo bottle.
OMG! She's either really dumb or really clever. If it's the former, I hope she doesn't use a hair dryer in the shower.

She should have attended Wattsamatta U in Frostbite Falls. A little education helps.
