It always takes more than one bass player to comment on changing a light bulb. It simply reinforces the answer.

It's fall going into winter out here, 66F today with humidity of 79%. The greyness just seemed to settle in a week or so ago, it was beautiful and sunny most days until then. Since the president here clamped down on private cars most buses and taxis, the air quality has improved so much we were able to see the Andes mountains that surround Lima most days and nights but now the fog has obscured them again. The fog rolls in off the Pacific ocean which we're a couple of miles from and the mountains keep the air locked in, Lima has its own microclimate compared to the rest of Peru, very mild here year round, never too hot or too cold. The lows in winter here are usually somewhere in the high 50's at night but it can feel colder because of high humidity. It's just the opposite of my home state, MA where the winters are dry but the summers can be humid at times. We were supposed to head back to MA last month but the airports here are closed now for international travel until Sept/Oct, oh well.

I remember watching Combat. There are a lot of war movies on an oldies channel this weekend.
No seatbelts and a metal dash. When you thumped yourself, you got it good. A rabbit's foot on the keychain often helped.
I was never lucky enough to hit the rabbit's foot.
The bobblehead religious figurine also helped. I took out the specific name as I got in trouble once with a thread that was entitled something like: "Did God rest for a day after he made the Precision bass?"
Someone took offense, I don't know why.

Jesus and his dad, a carpenter, made a couple of basses together. Jesus called his the JBass. The other bass was made first and he selflessly gave it to his friend Peter. They called it the PBass.
