You folks went to the wrong high school! :D

What I should have done is gone to school in an 80s high school movie. :smug:

If all you did was McHales Navy, it would be considered quite an accomplishment.

The entire Pacific Ocean is within walking distance of the Norman Bates house in Universal City.

My high school principal had a rule, if you didn’t attend the graduation ceremony, you wouldn’t receive a diploma. Thinking that this was wrong, I didn’t attend. I didn’t care about the paper. This set me on a course of not attending any of my graduations.

I've never gone to any of mine either.

Yeah, I grew up with that last name. There's not a Bates joke you can make that I haven't heard a hundred times :)

Challenge accepted... ;)

The weather people do a better job in some areas. Terrain and winds can make forcasting unpredictable, so they claim. Despite whatever they forcast, I prefer to look out a window and use common sense.

Today’s weather is supposed to feel like 100F (38C). The car wants an oil change so it’s a drive to the dealer in the country. Of course, because the car is clean, the weather soothsayers predict rain later in the day.

Taking my exercise today with a 15 minute walk to the hospital, where I'm expected for another set of labs for a Monday appointment. Maybe I'll snag a new, free hospital grade mask.

Every city has its "fixtures". You know what I mean, people who are regulars around the retail and dining district. All are hard cases, people the system forgot, or are out of reach. Harmless enough, on the whole. And one of the fixtures I see when downtown wears a carpenter's dust mask. It's a mask, so.

So I looked a minute or three ago. Prediction is 33 degrees but it's only 18 now. You'd think with that temperature swing I live in the stinking desert.

Street people have a high covid infection rate. Shared shelters, at risk health wise all contribute. I don’t like walking by them as they sit on the sidewalk asking for change.

A nearby empty lot where they congregate to get high was fenced off the that morning. They went nuts making a commotion while tearing it down. Multiple cop cars with their lights flashing were at the scene trying to contain them as I walked by on my way to the office supply store. A lot of lookyloo facebook reporters with their cell phones held up were across the street. On the way back, the cops were gone. The unruly mob was still there screaming.
