Vamps were as big a draw as sheiks in silent movies.
Ya know, as much as I like historical stuff, I have a hard time watching silent movies.

Mel Brooks' Silent Movie was moderately watchable. Some parts of Life Stinks are definitely on the "watch again" list, even though it's not seen as exactly a masterpiece.

Most recently watched silent is Harold Lloyd in The Freshman. Casting a vote for Nosferatu.
"Shadow of the Vampire" (John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe) the fictional documentary about the making of "Nosferatu" was pretty good too. Hey, it's almost Halloween... my favorite holiday.

Except Batman masks, and Lone Ranger masks, and Zorro masks are ineffective all around. Maybe effective for knocking off the local liquor store but .... kids if you're going to hold up a joint, cut out eye holes. It makes a big difference.

You can write songs with instruments other than pen and ink. The write tool for the right job.
