Has the pipe fitter's union filed a complaint?

Doctors told me to nix the offeecay. They may as well have asked me for my right foot.

And it's to the surgeon's office today to remove the dressing and see what all we've got. What I know is that indelible ink they use on patients' skin is indelible. The two lines on my left shoulder presumably served a purpose when I was under anesthesia. The writing on my leg presumably served a different purpose. I can't see that as it is under layers of dressing and bandages :meh:

An alcohol soaked sanitizer pad will remove the shoulder marks in short order.

Maybe ask the doc why they were playing tic-tac-toe on your shoulder.

Tomatoes are apparently on the arthritis nix list as well.
Since tomatoes are off the list, I won't suggest a tomato poultice to promote healing, which is a shame because it makes a great spaghetti sauce afterwards.

I grew up on tomatoes. They used to say that I was going to turn into one but that never happened.

There are way more expensive ways than a homemade poultice now. None taste as good.

There's nothing like home grown, vine ripened tomatoes. The hydroponic cardboard things you get in the stores don't come close. The same with "store bought" peaches; if they don't smell like peaches they won't taste like peaches.

My poultice today is brown paper and vinegar. And a boot. A plastic affair with a removable lining. Ski outfits thunk this up 50 years ago. What a modern ski boot manufacturer can kick off the line in no time at all is subject to a completely different set of rules and regulations as a medical device

Anyway it's a boot

(the difference between medical oxygen and industrial oxygen is the colour of the paint on the tank :speechless: )

and I can sort of walk in it and stuff. There's a pump so my right foot is in a mobile bouncy castle. Geriatric medicine and sports medicine is what's practiced all under one tent

The "coffee bad" meme didn't wash here, but I'm allowed to shower again. The super-secret writing on my shoulder is gone, courtesy of rubbing alcohol and a cosmetics pad. Leg to-morrow, when I remove the bandages.

Forgot to eat today but that's rectified. That red tomato sauce stuff by any name is :vomit: to me unless desperate. I really enjoy the tastes of some alcoholic drinks. What I don't so much enjoy is being drunk. Oh <ahem> that drunk. Same as eating. I enjoy some things to eat, but never to the point of holiday dinner full. That doesn't feel good to me, but on the chance it does feel good one day I have that capacity
