I have a cousin that worked in a hospital. One of his jobs was taking dead people down to the morgue. He was also supposed to maintain them on a heart monitor for a certain period, just to be sure. He never had anyone come back.

An uncle was a plumber that serviced commercial refrigeration units. He was called to a funeral home to fix the cooler. They locked him in the fridge by wedging a casket up against the door. The people that work in that industry seem to have a morbid sense of humour.

The nurse told me that she almost freaked out, she had to control herself. I know.....mean.

Back in the late '60s, I was out plowing snow in a parking lot with my brother's Jeep. A guy stopped and asked if I could plow his lot when I finished, and then to come inside to get paid. I said 'OK'. So, I plowed his parking lot, and went in. Welp, it was a funeral home and as I was walking in, a recent stiff they were working on sat up in its casket (I guess that happens from time to time).

Let's just say that I beat feet and that guy got his lot plowed for free.
