I've known enuff ppl who've gotten their @$$ in a sling out of some offhand remark on FB to know I ain't gonna be a part of it. Our band has a FB 'site', IDK what it says or how to access it.(I think it says on the back of our cards[?])

Find a kid to make you a web site. Some internet providers allow a free web site as part of your package.

Then there are band hosting web sites, starting at $8.29 per month.

That's Boreal Ridge, date unknown, photographer unknown. Someone for sure knows what kind of engine that is. I'm not among the train spotters but used to be pretty good at spotting commercial aircraft.

My Website is okay save for the glaring lack of a sample of my playing. Traffic is essentially zero but I've some nice pics.

Once I had a FB account for a very short while and trust the record of my account is expunged. What I recall is when you "quit" Facebook, the software retains your ident for a while "just to make sure" you really meant to leave. That's very high on the evil list for me.

I bet if you logged in, the info would still be there...Probably forever. But there supposedly is a way to purge all the info.

The very last time I logged in, I saw a rant from a former bandmate about me. I thought he was my friend. It upset me much I had a pit in my stomach. Last time I ever logged in.

The drummer posts(posted)our upcoming gigs and some pics. I've seen it-on my daughter's phone-but don't care about it. We aren't getting any gigs these days anyway so it don't matter to me[halfway decent song]. No NYE gig.* First missed in ~15-20 years.

I have to run a pretty active Facebook page for the shelter, plus a website. My personal Facebook page might get a post once every two months. I only "friend" family and close personal friends...as in been in their home.

I say, either Weegee or Henri. After all, it's old and in black & white. Well, there is O. Winston Link, to consider, too, given a train is involved.

On the day I made this photograph on a Tuesday in January 1990 it had been snowing all day (I made the photo late afternoon). The day before, it was a beautiful sunny day with snow only high up in the cliffs around 3000' to 4000' above the valley floor. We were required to wear chains for the rest of the week (the car tires had to, also).​

I often drive along a road cut through the rocks like in the image.

Fairly often in the old days (the 1980s) I would drive through a road cut on Rte 14 near Lancaster, Ca., right through the San Andreas' Mistake Fault®.
