There are companies today that don’t publish phone numbers. They make you contact them via computer. Even worse, customer service involves posting your question publicly in a forum that anyone can reply to. One I came across can only be contacted through facebook. I guess that they don’t care about all the GOF’s that don’t use computers.
Yeah. If someone can only be reached through facebook they're telling me they don't want my business.

There are many reasons for FB and I'm not one of them.
you have a browser on your phone though...
i have a fecesbook profile but have not logged in in over a year, I detest that place.
I have one Windows machine left. I use it for writing code that is incorporated in the books I write.
It runs Win7-SP1 which is no longer being patched. It doesn’t matter since it is NEVER connected to any network. The “product” I deliver is done in person - customer’s rules.

My phone is too small to use the browser. I don’t have facebook or any other of the popular social media platforms for security reasons.

It wasn’t the security reasons I left FB world. It was the constant politics, “friends” , ads and that picture of a beer(meals too) when someone had a great/bad day. Ooooo....look at me. Drama world. It’s been at least 3 years gone for me.

I peeked into an upholstery shop last Friday. They had covers on display. Seems that there’s still a demand for them.
It snowed a good amount last week. It’s since all melted. This week is rain but there are two big dumps anticipated for next week. I alway hope that the snow doesn’t stay till after New Year’s.
Although TB is still social media. It’s definitely a better place.

Snow?
Once I had a FB account for a very short while and trust the record of my account is expunged. What I recall is when you "quit" Facebook, the software retains your ident for a while "just to make sure" you really meant to leave. That's very high on the evil list for me.

I've known enuff ppl who've gotten their @$$ in a sling out of some offhand remark on FB to know I ain't gonna be a part of it. Our band has a FB 'site', IDK what it says or how to access it.(I think it says on the back of our cards[?])
I often drive along a road cut through the rocks like in the image. I always wondered why in all these years they haven’t cut it back more to add a walking and bike path. It’s closed now for for repair work. Seems that rocks were jumping off the ledges onto vehicles.
